Scott, thats a hell of a tear man...
Steve, yeah you should NOT have a code with HFC's...
You need to check and see what that code is bro.
When are you going to the dragstrip again this year
I want to run this thing stock and see what I can get, THEN mod it...

P0420, P0430. Failed Bank 1&2 catalytic converter.
Difficult to tell if I have a leak where the cat meets the header because I can't rev it and stick my head under the hood at the same time. May be liquid gasket inside the cat burning off, leak, need non-foulers.. Yay - time to troubleshoot again.
Rob - Possible I'll go to get a tune next year, but less likely now.
EDIt - AJ - After I get my e-tune from UpRev (and clear my SES light) ... hopefully in the next 2 weeks.

Steve let me know man
Also if you need help with those Cats let me know.
Maybe if we take them off and redo them we can figure it out. I do have the extension to make it quicker.
I bet that exhasut sounded GOOD with the HFC's on there
It will have a much DEEPER sound

There was a significant leak at the resonator (after the Y pipe - luckily). So I reconnected that piece last night and it sounds a lot better now. Yes, a deeper tone. Sounds good.
I ordered some non-foulers just in case. The code seems leads me to believe that either my sensors are more sensitive than older models, or some liquid gasket smoked in the pipe and threw the code. I reset the ECU again last night - so I'll see if the SES light comes back on.
Since I'm going to need more tools to grind down pads for the Brembo setup I opted for some EBC yellows on my stock calipers. The Project Mu's were fading like a **** the last time I was at the track... hopefully these do better.
If all goes well and I get my e-tune in, I'll be at Waterford for OTD 9/5... and then trying to hit as many track days in Sept as possible (including another Lapeer or Milan day). Season is coming to an end guys.. gotta pump enough adrenalin to keep me going through the winter.

Fall bbq / mod-party
Alright since we all haven't met up for a while and weather is starting to get a bit chillier, I think it's about time for a Fall BBQ. I chose the date based off my personal calender, but if everybody can make a different weekend than I can then we can do that too, but since I'm taking initiative, I get preference j/k
Z-ONLY BBQ CANCELLED. EVERYBODY GO TO THE XCEED BBQ INSTEAD!!

Can we do this the Sunday, Sep 27, 2009?
I definitely want to go, but I have a track day on Saturday 26th at Grattan. At this point, it doesn't look like I will have any parts to install for myself.
I have marked my name against Soda.

What: BBQ / MOD-PARTY
Date: Saturday - September 26, 2009
Location: Novi, MI (Aj has gladly offered up his place)
Description:
- We're going to go oldskool and do potluck style. Basically everybody brings a dish / utensil. I'll start a sign-up list for the typical necessary things.
- While we're eating / chilling, we'll also be doing installs for whoever has parts. (typical stuff like suspension / exhaust, but no headers lol)
Sign-up list (Please post up what you plan to bring and also how many ppl are coming including yourself):
Hot-Dogs:
Hamburgers:
Hot-Dog and Hamburger Buns (combined cuz they're cheap):
Soda (or pop however you want to call it): -- Deepu
Paper Plates and Party Cups:
Chips:
Dessert / Fruit:
Paper Towels and Utensils:
Beer (cuz I know AJ wants it haha):
Ketchup / Mustard: Rob (2) but don't worry I'll bring whatever we're missing
Let's have another fun time again! Btw, AJ do you have a grill? Or should I bring one?

as indicated, i'll bring the beer and dogs. either day works best for me, but i prefer saturday (sorry deepu).
i plan to get a new catback system on her before she goes into storage, but if that happens i can install it at home. don't think i'll be able to get it by the party anyhow.
i can bring my new 3 ton jack and stands as well. and if anyone needs my in-lb torque wrench. but no socket tools, unless we really need them. lost too many last time! lol.

Deepu asked if this could be moved to Sunday, September 27th.
I kind of agree. The Xceedspeed BBQ is on Saturday the 26th. I was hoping we could all roll in and then cruise out for group photos on Belle Island.
Lee: Hell yeah! I got the bug too! (Uh, I guess I've kind of had it since March.) I need POWER!
BTW: I'll be happy to also bring some chips, dips, chains, whips ... oops wrong party. Make that just chips. I'll bring some Coke-like drinks too.

Ok didn't know the xceed bbq was the 26th. Let's just crash that and roll in together haha. Maybe that will be our fall bbq instead. Should we still plan to bring our own food?
