DETROIT Z (meets and events)
I hope you'll have another one soon! I've only been to Oakos once and it was on a day that you were closed. LOL (I had the wrong meet date.)
Seems like this Saturday is quite busy. The meet, the Cars and Coffee meet, the Oakos Open House, ... dang!
If anyone is sitting home bored to death on Saturday, it's their own fault.

I wish I could. I saw your announcement after I scheduled an install meet at my house. (This is where we gather and hammer out installations on each others cars.) It's a good chance for folks to learn and get parts installed.

We'll be having them about once a month during the slower months and then twice a month (possibly) during the spring/summer/fall. It's an Open House/Customer Cash Pick-up day

Anybody wanna meet up and go? I'm considering making the 1hr 20 min drive to support a buddy of mine who's entering his car.

Some time in the future I plan to get custom fabric done with some of our photographs and put it there.

i think imports are more the norm on the west coast in general. here in the D, it's home of the 'big 3' - gm, chrysler and ford. they're more the norm around here.
Brian's the expert at that as he completed his basement. I definitely will be doing a dedicated home theater in my basement. I will be taking cues from him when I do that. It sounds silly since I don't even have a house yet.
I can help with the construction and tips as reflections as what I wouldn't do the second time around. I still have all the tools including the cordless nail gun for framing. The one thing I was happy I did was a conduit passage so I could change cables from the media closet to the projector. Who knows what technology we will have in 10 years. You have to be able to upgrade.
