Woodward sucks. No one actually drives out there. Everyone just parks and sits all night. FTL.

Default SCCA Auto Crossing Update

Ok, heres whats up, cost $35 if your a member, membership for SCCA is $45 for 24 and under, $25 if in military, $60 for everbody else.
If your a non member to race it cost $50 but $15 dollars goes towards membership so its still $35 technically.

woo-hoo!! autox today at belle isle, this place is AWESOME!! Huge open area for the course and the view is amazing!! The Z def. has enough power for me right now, even in stock form. As you can hear from my buddy filming, I got it pretty sideways in one of my runs haha. But I recovered. Did pretty good considering it was my first time auto-xing. FTD was like 37, my fastest was 41.9 (but didnt' count cuz it was in one of the fun runs at the end of the day). There was an 04 black track that ran 43.3, and a red 06+ touring that ran 40.xx (but hit a cone so +2).

Anyways, I want to go to the detroit scca next sunday but I really need to study.....so it's either nissan meet on sat and study on sunday. Or study sat and race sunday. Hmmm.......and no, I CANNOT do both!

YOUTUBE VID: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfI1vdXnKMQ

Oh and PS. stock tires suck!!

Hey! Nice runs!!! Fellow Autocrosser! Get some V710s on that baby!!

Hell I got some kumho V710's on stock G35 rims that only been ran in 2 autocrosses!! BRAND NEW!

I see you ran BS so no suspension mods... but a Z with nice coil-overs, sways, good toe/camber can be FEIRCE in BSP I ran it for awhile... loved it!

Hey thanks man!! And congrats on the sale of ur Z! Too bad I didn't get a chance to see it in person, but from what i hear, it was SICK!! but u sure you're getting a lotus now? will you auto-x more or track? I'm attending a porsche club driving school May 8th at Waterford. So hopefully I"ll learn a lot, I'm leaning towards more track driving than autoxing though.

I did three years of Autocrossing which really helped my overall driving ability a ton!!! I REALLLLLY recommend it before jumping into track but since your heading to school for it then you should be fine!!

I know I was gonna go take a few lessons at Gratton or Willowrun before I start to do it solo! I dont wanna endanger someone elses life ya know?

I'll definitely be doing some autocrosses this year! I'll be glad to tag along for a few rides in your Z if we are at the same events You really have to feel a Z on sticky tires... I mean it makes the car completely different!!

All I can say is get as much seat time in an experienced drivers as you can!!! I sat in on a ton and it really helped me understand that throttle control is essential with the Z's weight. No plowing if you can help it ya know?

Waterford scares the **** outta me cuz there isnt much room for error if you spin your probably gonna smack a wall... Gratton. If you spin your gonna get a lot of grass or sand on your car! I'm down with that!!

Thanks for the nice comments about the Z. It was one hell of a fast car! But I found enjoyment in entering and exiting a corner! That much power wasn't for me... But my exige should be in this week

Rob, good work man glad you enjoyed it and did well!
You need to get some bigger rubber on that thing man...you are lacking in the back BIG time.
Derrick is 100% correct in my brief experience tires is an amazing upgrade. Even changing pressures is an amazing difference with the right setup.

Can't wait to see the Exige....

TIRE PRESSURE IS HUGEEEEEE also... You can change the way the Z understeers big time.

My v710s (ONLY 245s) worked amazing out there! Even with 518rwhp except when you wanted to break the tires out!

I really cant even describe the way a Z feels with race tires.
