Steve beat me at the Autocross today. It was still a blast, my best time was a 51.3 with out hitting any cones, and I got a 50.2 when I tipped one. It was a lot of fun. Steve and I both went for rides around the curcuit in a NOBEL M400. The car was insane, a lot of nice cars out. I will definatly be doing this again.

I think that Dude with the Red Vq35HR ran a 48.X lap.

There were some bad *** cars out there today.

that's awesome that you guys went to auto-x today. Weather was absolutely amazing, too bad I was hungover a hell, still am....

anyways, if it was the same guy with the red HR that ran at the MSCC auto-x last weekend, then he's pretty damn fast. He got fastest time in our class too. Although he did have an up on me because of the HR and because he's running RE050's.

Porsche Club High Performance Driving School this Thursday for me Yay!!!

Aj,

I did not run the S4, autocrossing looks pretty bad for the car, not gonna lie. That is probably the worst sport for you car, in terms of wear and tear.

Bob and I are both going to the BBQ

I will be heading out to the BBQ as well.

The auto X looks worse for the car than it is, IMO. You rev out first and then stay in the low-mid range on second gear most of the run. It is harder on the tires than anything else. Even the braking isnt that bad. Usually really short braking distances because your speeds arent that fast.

Huh? Driving your car hard for less than a minute? Please explain.

It was fun. The aspect of competition is cool too. But sheesh.. We were there for 11 hours and I ran my car for less than 4 minutes.

My times were 52.5, 50.8(2cones), 50.2(clean/best), 49.4(1 cone)

I don't know man, it just looks so rough on the car. There was nothing smooth about how anyone went around the course. Eating up brakes, tires, clutch.

^ Its not a big deal, im just saying I have higher mileage than you guys.

That in car video is badass by the way.

That red 300ZX whooped my *** by 2 cars on the freeway last night.. after he pulled the two cars we'd sit there, then he'd let off.. I wanted to keep going cause I think I would slowly reel him or at least it looked like it. I need my nitrous put in .

Congrats Steve!
That is awesome, put that trophy in the case, there will be more soon.
If you had just a bit more pep you could have gotten your time down even more. Love the Camera mount too, thats B/A

Mike K. Autocross is WAY better then open road racing...that is just BAD for it thats for sure.

Glad you had a good experience Billy, always good to find decent dealerships around the area.
