Anyone planning on hitting up Woodward tonight? I managed to somehow get the night off of work, and it's gorgeous out there. If anyone is down, I'll probably head up there at like 8-9ish. I'll probably try Bombay unless everyone gets kicked out, then I'll probably do Street Legal.

 

Damnit I was down to go I didn't know if people would be out and its kind of a drive from Toledo to find out it was dead...

 

I didn't see anyone else from here last night. But there was a decent amount of other cars out.

I haven't posted in 6 months. I can see the Detroit Z crowd is still around. Just paid off my 2003 Brickyard. I will have to come to one of your meets. I will check back. Glad to see the group is growing. Anyone else put a Stillen Stage 2 in their car? I haven't seen anyone else in Michigan with my setup.

 

a stillen stage two is a waste of money . 6 7k for 280whp no thank you , it is great for longetivity of your engine with fi . but i dont think anyone would do stillen sc nowadays . your car is nice though .

 

just bought some hi-flo cats from a buddy of mine...going to be putting those on in the next couple of weeks :-)

 

I am looking to do high flow, and cat back maybe intake not sure yet.

 

I'm not sure if anyone heard about it already or not, but Street Legal Customs is sponsoring a drag day at Milan on thursday July 17th. It's a 40 car maximum, and it's only $25. They've got the track from 6-9p.m. that night. Didn't know if anyone else would be interested, but I just signed up, and I think I was only the 5th person on the list. It would be nice to get a few more Z's to go out. It's only $25 a person, because apparently the shop is eating the extra cost from them increasing prices this year.

 

i'll go if i could get my car retune .

I know Johnny's event in June is $75.00 a car, then again its a Saturday event so there is a bit more $$$ in that. Hopefully you can run them then too..

BKennedy- There is almost no one signed up so far, like I said, I think I was #5, and they've got a 40 car limit.

Jess- I actually forgot about Johnny's Milan day. I'll have to see if I can do that one too. They are eating the cost I guess because they did a drag day last year, and with that huge rise in cost this year, they didn't want everyone else to get stuck with paying a bunch of money. Good publicity for them I guess. I'm just hoping to not totally embarass myself on the strip though. This will honestly be my first time out to a drag strip, so we'll see how it goes. I've gotta start somewhere though.

 

I was going to do exhaust and stuff but I am waiting.... I Have been doing alot of reading and I will do an exhaust when I get my greddy blue box .

I will probably try to make the event then forsure. I have been talking to Evogirlie about going to this track rental in romeo IL roadcoarse. If anyone ever wants to chat on Aim - Darkbluesr240 I love to meet new Z owners and chat. Just let me know who you are .

 

Wassup B1tcheSSSSS! Well I am proud to say we had one hell of a weeekend, and you are talking to the "TOP DAWG" GET SOME BABY!!! . The car ran soild all weekend, I have some videos but Jeff messed them up lol he didn't manage to get one good video out of the 10 . Its all good there are videos in the thread of me doing WORK!

Next year we better have a big carvan going to ZdayZ... it is SOOOOOOOo much Fun!

 

I plan on going next year. I wanted to go this year but I was just at the tail of the dragon beginning of April when I drove my car home from where I purchased it. I couldn't come up w/ the funds for the $2-300 of gas again.
