There has been some talk about getting together and it's been a long time since our last meet. We really need to have a Z only meet soon. How does Saturday, May 31st work for everyone? Any suggestions on a location?

What time? My class lasts 'til 3:15.

The last few meets have been in the Schaumburg area and it worked out pretty well. One time we met in the lot of Fudruckers and headed down to Hooters for some wings later on.

Bruce, how are you coming along learning to drive stick?

 

i would guess that the woodfield parking would be enough to park atleast 10+ cars if that many where to show up and all could just walk over to the hooters. that would be 3 of my favorite things. Beer, *****, Cars. i think we all would just have to agree on a date. like maybe the 31st which is a Sat.

 

Schaumburg area would be good since my school is right by Woodfield mall. So if we can make the meet after 3:15, I can just go straight to meet right from the class.

Haha, thanks for asking. My shifting skill is ok now, I guess. Launch still kind of sucks though.

As for the date, pretty much any Sat. after 3:15 is good.

Next Saturday, May 31, sounds good to me. I was planning on waxing the Z this weekend, but will be in Denver for Memorial Day weekend, so will probably postpone the Zaino workout till the 31st. Like Bruce, anytime after 3pm should work for me. Maybe we could start in Schaumburg late afternoon/early evening & then head downtown afterwards. This might work for some of the city guys that might not be able to make it out to the burbs....just a thought

Sounds good to me i can make it out there and going downtown to any place later in the night is what i kinda had planed anyway. one of the many bars would be my final destination. anytime after 3 is also good it will be after the hooters 12-2 lunch rush so it should be a little easier to get a table. 30 minutes instead of the hour thirty.

also i'm kinda new to stick, only have been driveing stick for about 2 weeks now, the launch is tricky with this car all it takes is time and stalling out a few times a week. i guess its better then stalling 3 times a ride.

 

It looks like we have come to consensus on this. Let's say 3:30 on Saturday May 31 at Hooters in Schaumburg. I'll start a new thread with the details and map.
