Chicago Z Meet - Sat. May 31, Hooters Schaumburg
It looks like our Z meet will be held on Saturday May 31, 3:30pm at Hooters in Schaumburg. Plan on parking in the lot on the west side of Hooters. We'll hang out in the lot for a while, then get some food/beer at Hooters. Some people have talked about heading downtown later in the evening.
The address is 1705 East Golf Road Schaumburg, IL 60173
Please post here of you plan on attending. See you all there!

Just a side note, Rt.53/290 near Woodfield is a construction nightmare right now, so you might want to avoid it if possible.

I'm going to try to get to this meet! I have a personal engagement in the early afternoon down in the city, but I think I might be able to get out to Woodfield in time.
Almost all of the Z people I've seen on the road have smiled and waved or given me the thumbs-up. It'd be nice to meet you guys and grab some grub.
I'll see if I can get one of my lazy-assed friends out there, too.

I won't be able to make it again!!
I have to go to a bachelor party in Michigan. Trust me, i wish i could go, but that's whats happens when you are picked for the Best Man.
The best i can do is take whip cream shots on your behalf. SO, i need a list of names.
Have fun Guys! And becareful of the "little" bump in the parking lot.

I met another Z owner at a bar downtown last night & told him about my350z.com & the meet this Saturday. For those people in the city that are interested in driving around Chicago & hanging out somewhere, but can't make it out to Schaumburg, we should set up a tentative time & place to meet up with them.
ChicagoEZ was nice enough to offer parking & to hang out at his place. If we want to go to a bar elsewhere in the city, garage parking is best b/c street parking is going to be tough & there are a few garages that are only $8 anytime from 6pm-8am.
If we start at Hooters around 3:30pm, then I'm thinking we could make it downtown around 8pm. What do you guys think? How many people would be interested in going downtown?

Hey guys, been a while since i met up with everyone. Sorry I havent been around lately. Had a lot of stuff goin on lately, stuck workin a lot, getting things done on the weekend that i cant during the week right now, and tryin to work somewhat of a sorta-long distance relationship, spending every few weekends abotu 2 1/2 hours away from the area here, and figures that the weekends im out of town we keep having meet-ups! Anyways though, im almost always out on friday or saturday nights (when im not out of town) between streets and irving&barrington hangouts, if you see the LeMans Z don't be a stranger...
Oh and BTW, dont know how many of you travel west, but once you are west of the Aurora area on Rt.88 the Z drives like a freakin dream between 70 - 85 mph. smooth as a caddy.... so the porposing interstate problem must just be in our area here. Also no road noice off the tires on 88 either, nothing compared to around here.
