Amen to that. Im from Texas. I dont know if I can stand being here an entire winter. I'll take the sweltering blistering heat, just get me out of this damn snow.
We're getting 15 centimetres tomorrow in the Toronto area. Looks like I'll be driving my wife's SUV tomorrow... then again I've been driving it for the last 2 months. I've got snow tires on my Z but the sound of the salt and grit hitting up in my wheel-wells makes me cringe.

Same, even on the days when its been warm lately, there is still salt and sand on the ground and it kicks up. Almost makes me sick to my stomach.
Of course. We've had some warm days lately, street were clear of snow. In fact it was up in the 50s this last monday. Took the Z out, but there was still crap all on the road.
we got about a foot dumped on us last night and as i was shoveling my drive, my neighbor comes over as "recommends" i don't drive my Z today.....yeah, she is more spoiled then my gf and doesn't see snow, ever.
I do have one question, anyone worried about salt? i wax the HELL out of the car during the summer anyways, but was worried about the underside.
Don't you have a second car to drive in the winter? IMHO it would be next to impossible to own a Z as a DD... way too impractical
Yep, the 2nd car is a 2007 Hyundai Tuscon Limited. It rocks in the snow.
My Z sleeps in the garage and only comes out when the sun is out full time and no snow in the forcast. It is clean now after washing after the last time out.
