We're meeting early for this cruise because we want to enjoy a full day of driving and sight seeing. We're also planning on doing lunch.

Lunch + a full day of driving/sight seeing is exactly what I'm looking for.

I might even come down a day early and do some shopping so I can be local in the morning. Or I'll sneak up and bang on Dave's bedroom window.

Anyone have a JWT Flywheel/Clutch or any other aftermarket flywheel/clutch by chance? I'd like to hear one in person.

I have a ACT clutch and flywheel. I know Aaron is also running an after market one but can't remember which one.

It'll be fun, you don't want to miss out. Where do you live in Minneapolis? I'm in the NW part somewhat close to Brooklyn Center. If anyone else is in the area we could always meetup somewhere (Brookdale Mall??) in morning and then head down to Cottage Grove. Let me know.

Alright, awesome. Steve, is it really that noisy? I hear ACT is a better route to go than JWT because some people say it's too damn loud.
Silver, are you gonna be attending? I'd like to hear a JWT in person as well.

No worries about chatter with any setup. After a week, you will forget about it. The chatter is a factor of the flywheel more so than that clutch itself. If you are that concerned about the noise, run a stock flywheel.

That said, without trying to bash anyone's setup, I HATED the JWT setup I had the displeasure of driving. Engagement was ON THE FLOOR. the clutch pedal was beyond mushy. I personally wouldn't run one regardless of power or budget.

ACT is a better choice, spec makes a decent clutch as well; heck, even clutchmasters. If you are putting power down, don't cheap out, go directly to a multiface carbon clutch

I looked at some other Z's with dubs to see what they looked like. All the pics I saw looked fine to me. To each and all their own, I guess. Hopefully I can return them if they don't look/fit properly.

I just got my Z...and you seem to know quite a bit about styling them (I saw the nice pics of your car). I am looking at getting a smaller antenna and noticed that you have the Honda S2000 antenna. Do you like it??? Would you recommend something else???

Thanks,

Doug

you can't go wrong with the S2000 antenna.

Yea i should be attending right now its a yes so unless things change i'ma be there. And like Aaron said its the lightn flywheel that causes the chatter and you do get use to it rite away. As for the JWT clutch, some like it some don't but i've had nothin but good luck with it, its holding strong and im more than happy with it and its good enough for the power im putting down and don't slip but if i ever do up the power ima go with a dual carbon clutch setup up like an Exedy.
