What made you decide on the color and the car? Where did you get it?

'cos it's the best color!!! IMO Don't ya think?
I searched for a while looking at PPWs and then heard about this one being traded. It's still on craigslist for sale
http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/car/646053461.html but the guy traded it to an Audi dealer and now its all mine ha ha ha ha!!!.

Its a one owner 03' with 34kmiles with pretty much everything on it. I had seen another at Luther VW an 04 with 30kmiles for the same money but was auto.
There was one at Carlson Toyota that I wanted - an 04 with 12kmiles, one local owner but by the time I sold the Evo, that one had gone!!!
Mine does have the dreaded tire noise and feathering but I used that to bargin the price down. Wouldn't move much though as it's a really nice car (again IMHO!!!)
The one at Luther will make someone a good car too. Was very well priced, offered to put new tires on due to feathering, just decided that 6speed Manual was more me.

Congratulations on your Z. Glad to see you were able to make it out with us, even with the crappy weather. Always good to see a new Z owner join us.

Thanks to everyone that ended up coming out, I'll try and get some of the pics and some of the videos up online soon. Too bad the weather was pretty crappy out, it would have been nice to get a few more cars out.

I guess I was too late to see the link. Be sure to post up some pics.

Alright...so I was just thinking the other day that we should start a Sunday morning twistee cruise. An event, a cruise, a meet or even a club in a sense. On a monthly basis we could plan a drive through the twistees on a Sunday morning when it's nice. I think it turns out to be around a 3 1/2 hr drive or so in total. We could meet at 8am and be back home before noon. This would be enough time to have some fun but still get on with the rest of your day. I got to thinking about this since, as many of you may know, my wife is a few weeks shy of having a baby and I know this is somewhat selfish on my part but I might need a little "me time" over the next few months. I'm pretty sure that I probably won't be able to make many all day events, however a few hours on a Sunday morning might work out just fine to keep eveyone happy including myself and my new baby mama.

In addition it would also give us a chance to appreciate nature and take in some fresh air as well! What do you think? Who'd be up for it?

So flooring our cars through the twisties is appreciating nature?

Sounds good Ben.

Too bad I couldn't make it guys; the weather man said 4-6 inches of snow that weekend so I couldn't risk driving my girl 6 hours to MN and then have her towed 12 hours back by USAA insurance, lol. Hopefully the next one you guys plan will be during the sun and not the ice...
