Nuki and Whitone, what're your plans? When you leaving? etc. It's may 16-18 so thats Fri-Sun. I don't know whether to split it into a two day drive and leave wednesday or leave very early thursday.

I hope to get there thursday the 15 so I can drive the dragon and learn it quickly.

 

If you can leave on tuesday. That way you get there on wednesday and you get some time on the Dragon before everyone shows up. Thats what we've done the last 2 years and it works out great.

 

Did you drive straight one day? How long would you say the drive is?

 

You could do it in one day but that would be a pain. The first year we went through Wi. and stayed the night. We then drove to chicago and met up with some of the chicago guys. It took forever. It did not help that I drank to much and only got like 45 minutes of sleep the night we stayed in wis. Last year we went through Iowa and got on I90 I think in davenport. Then drove into Indy and stayed the night. Going through Iowa saved about 2-3 hours.

Not sure yet. Gotta see what the job situation is around that time. I was thinking of leaving thursday or mid friday and driving all the way through I suppose. :shrug:

 

likewise for me for job situation, I was planning on leaving on a monday and doing some site seeing on the way if there is any (my first time going). It all comes down to when my training date in Seattle is and when I had to leave for that. Let me know what all your plan is and maybe we can have a rendevous point and follow each other there.

I did the Zdayz trip in 2005 and 2006 but missed 2007. I'm tempted to go there this year, but it's too early for me to commit.

 

Cool, JC. Let us know what day you are looking at - we should have multiple departure days between the 12 - 15 that are probably going. Probably Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, maybe Friday too. PM or call my cell.

 

This job I just interviewed with lets me have my choice of Fridays off, so Im thinking late thursday. (Assuming I get this job.) =) *crosses fingers*
