if they do total it, let me know what the buy it is before they declare it totaled. You have the option to buy the car out from the insurance company, keeping the title clean. I really doubt it will be totaled... which is why you should be going to raymond, they will make the car better than new

I am going to tell you upfront, you should be taking it to raymond. Best shop in the state.

If they scrap her, I'd be willing to drive to MN and buy the front bumper, rear bumper and left side skirt for cash + my redline non-Nismo parts. This way that car can still be scrapped as "whole".

For whoever thinks it can be repaired, heres what needs to be replaced/fixed that we can see:
Passenger seat (theres $3K right there)
passenger door w/ interior panel and glass
rear quarter panel
side skirt w/nismo side skirt add-on
rear right rim
front fender
hood
windshield
the steering is messed up
the sub frame is pushed in along with the fire wall
the roof is f**ked up
the dashboard is f**ked up
headliner
passenger curtain-side airbag
possible damage to rear suspension/axle
I'm sure theres more underlining damage that we cant see.
This is ATLEAST $12K+ worth of damage, not including what we cant see, plus the labor costs to repair it.

I'm leaning towards totaled. There's just so much that can be wrong with it now, and the costs of parts and labor may not be worth it. Have you gotten it checked out yet or heard?
Like I asked earlier man, if it's totaled, would you be able to work out a swap and some kind of deal with me for the Brembos?
Hate to sound like a douchebag vulture, but I thought it'd be a good thing to bring up.

I'm just saying if they total it, I can swap brakes with you so you'll still have my brakes on there. It's something small that won't be noticed and won't affect your payout. If they total it and you wanna go through with it, I could make a trip down and swap everything out so the car's "downtime" would be minimal. Up to you, though. I just need me some big brakes to fill my wheels.
I've seen many many people do these small things prior to having the car towed to the junkyard.

don't get upset. I have a brother that works in the industry. Looking at the pics you provided, it is his opinion that it very well could be repairable. Obviously having the car in person to look at will put any question about it's condition to bed.
Repairable or totalled, you should have brought the car down to Raymonds in st paul.
If it were my car, if brought to a reputable shop, I don't see any reason why not to repair it. not hit hard enough to really have suspension issues... you might need some new components, but I doubt any thing of real concern. The rail might be pushed in a bit, again, doesn't look too serious. headliners are nothing, replacing an air bag isn't much either. fender is basically bolt on, along with sideskirt and hood. I don't see an extravagent amount of real work that needs to be done.... more or less a lot of cosmetic damage and replacing bolt on parts. True, things get expensive, but in terms of reliability and driving the car after the repairs, I don't see anything that would scare me about repairing it -> as long as a reputable shop does the repairs.
Edit...
no coolers pushed in, no mechanical damage, no exhaust to replace etc
