Thanks Janik. Ended up trading it in on a 2004 Audi Allroad. Already got plans for the Twin Turbo V6. Should be a fun winter car. Good luck in ND. Contrary to what Dave think there are some definite hotties in the Dakotas.
There really isnt much you can do with those, you might be able to make the APR stage 3+ kit from the S4 fit but I doubt it. Oh and watch out for the air ride system the air compressors have a tendency of going bad.
Thanks. I've picked up a nice bumper to bumper warranty on it so I won't have to worry about the typical Euro car problems for a few years. Probably not doing anything real crazy on it. I had a TT before the Z and used the REVOTechnik tuning software. I'll probably go that route again. I think they have a stage 1 tune for the 2.7 TT engine that pushes it up to 315HP/365TQ. That's good enough for me. Definitely not a Z though.
I looked into buy a 2004-2005 Audi S4 but the lack of warranty scared me. I'd probably do it if i could get a warranty.
Interstate National Dealer Services - We had it on a previous car and had it transferred over to the Audi. They have been great, no issues, they have never pushed back on a repair. It's an easy process. I give the dealer a card, pay my deductible and they bill the company. I have used it a few times over the last two years. They are ranked on Forbes 200 list and have a A+ rating from BBB. It was something like $2,500 for the policy which is 84 months/ 100,000 miles.

Ben sold the Z? WTF? I'm out of town for over a week, and everyone's jumping ship? Did you miss me or something?
What did you do with the nitrous kit?

Ha! Guess I should have read back a couple of pages.
Aaron, congrats and good luck. I hope it's a healthy pregnancy. Are we going to your place next for a Z party?
I've been out of town for work. Advanced training ftw!
Ben, sorry to hear about the Z. I think you're going to regret that sale when your kids get older. But at least you have lots of pics! If money wasn't so tight around my house right now, I'd love to pick up that kit from you. But I have to focus on the brakes first. I've learned to NOT mod the Z over the winter and have it in pieces before the Spring meets.
Anyway, just wanted to stop in for a drive-by. Catch you guys later. I have next week off, so the Z is going to stretch her legs often. (that didn't sound so good)
Janik, you ARE that guy. Pics or GTFO

I know seriously I woke up the other morning and thought WTF did I do. JK. It was a really tough choice. I miss it tons already. After you have a car for that long and put a lot of time into it it's hard to part ways. It was sad to drive away from the dealership leaving it in the parking lot. Anyways, maybe I'll see about picking up a 370 in few years.
Aaron - I totally missed you post. Congrats man! I wish you guys the best.

Dave, we can have a get together at the end of the month or early Oct at my place. We are down to about 25 acres of corn now. about 10-14 days. A week or so of tractor work and a few days of cleanup and I am done for the year.

I would love a 370.... but I think a honda odyssey is more likely. Anybody have a contact that sells Hondas?

Smooth, I am a business mgr at Walser Honda in Burnsville, real names Blake if you want to look me up at the dealership 952-892-1100
Just got back from my track day at BIR, that was one hell of a good time. The Z has never been driven that hard before. I met another fellow Z owner, he ended up losing it coming out of turn 13 and beaching himself in the gravel trap (pushing it too hard trying to keep up with my pace).
The fastest car there was a stillen tuned GTR racecar which ran laps around the ford GT that was there.
