Ben, can't wait to share the whiteness! w00t! Is your fiance here already? Hopefully, we can meet her.

Aaron, I used to get comments about the Z32 being new. I guess part of it was that I kept the car so clean and in great shape. Other part was people just didn't know....lol

I think the RX7, Supra, and Z32 are all considered great cars for their time. Some lasted longer than others. I'd still rock the VG30 over the rotary engine.

Well despite injuries, I will, as always be returning to daytona for the rolex 24,,,and in defense of the rotary, those rx8's have been crushing the grand am series for years now.
Point in case, dont think I'd own one, last gen of the supras that looked like tiny vipers were awesome tho.....unless a new engine challenge bug bites me, or the right price maybe the Wenkel rotary would be fun! Lol

They do make like 500k assertions on life expectancy....of course, lexus, acura and nissan will all run forever too!

Did anyone hear about the death of acura as a company? Or is this all rumor?

It's so cold that my laziness has taken over....

Took the battery out of the Z to charge it, but I think I'm just going to leave it and get a light weight battery. Maybe one for a motorcycle?

you don't want one off a motorcycle.... they won't be powerful enough.

you want something like this or track down a mini out of porsche. even then, I personally would just get a decent regular size battery. You don't need the space and the small ones aren't known to be as reliable as a standard. Also, some need a special charger.... not all, but some do. for the small weight savings I personally don't see it being worthwhile.

a lot of evo owners use them for the space savings. Allows them to run more direct and larger IC piping. at that point, I would still recommend relocating the battery (what I did) over moving to a small, mini battery. IMHO they are just one more thing to fail prematurely

I just put a tender on it and leave in the car. IMHO easiest way to manage/maintain it. even if you bring it in the house, need to make sure you don't let it go dead..... dead + cold will ruin the battery. My car can't sit for more than about 10-12 days before the batter goes flat so I even plug it in during the driving season

So should we just plan for another big Spring meet? Let's do it at First Car Garage in Eden Prairie.
