Few things, living in Brainerd is far from less desirable except makes trips to Autobahn, CHicagoland, or Rd America bit less convenient; Daytona is always a long haul either way.
Valving and spring rates vs rebound is a major area for contention, but I have yet to see most people out drive a stock car before they make millions of "adjutsments" and further buy options they never use; so its good you are mindful of this ahead of time.
I dont AutoX much over past yrs, was more into it w Vette and other cars, Z/G platform is perfect for rd racing just keep the end game in mind. A streetable and trackable car is always desired. Esp in MN considering our variables

No where really, the office for a bit, then out to WI in my dads truck to pick up an order at Uline, then off to the gym. Sat Im pulling out everything from the garage to do my spring cleanup where I wash the floor to get rid of the salt and finish off with washing the Z. NASCAR is Sat night this week so that's pretty much my day right there lol.

Well, Crap.

Finally got under the car to start installing parts, and replacing some of the damn aftermarket stuff that came with the car, to find this.
It's the subframe side where the lower arm should connect, and it's worn all the way through, from what i can guess was an over tightened toe adjustment bolt.
Now I need a damn subframe, and there's no way it'll be ready for the opening events next weekend.

As for the 2nd noise complaint and two cops spending over 2.5 hrs at my house, (they picked the wrong person clearly) here is the recent very liberal bs statute that my company has whole heartedly attacked and defended btw regarding hot rodding and tuning being we have no emmisions.....keep this in mind if cops bother you, or well you know call my business line, never personal number regarding these things.

That law's been on the books that way for over 40 years.
Whiteline is great, amazing customer service and quality through and through.... and *** restriction on rules racing...run in open, free, unrestricted or time trials. Thats the world I live in and care for the most, but to each their own.
I stick to classes with rules as I want to be competitive. Fun for me isn't just in the driving, but the competition. Falling in a rule set helps keep a budget to the build and yields an interesting challenges. A top flight open build would easily be 70-100k. A top flight STU build should only be about 10-25k, and I'll have someplace to compete without needing a truck and trailer.
Youre not telling me anything new regarding racing my man, family has owned teams since 1929, we should chat octane & classes sometime. The same reason you like the classes is why myself and others grow out of it; you truly only can and are racing yourself. Always.
As for statutes we can talk more in person sometime; I rarely engage in verbal fetes over the internet regarding these matters for very specific reasons.
