my suspension issues on my Evo have been testing me.... first off the damn RHS coil breaks off... then the LHS one is noticeably bent. Both go to KW to be rebuilt. the turnaround was OK, price was fair. Both fixed. I get them back and go to install and notice the top hat for the spring is cracked. I order them up and it takes 10 days to ship to me. I obviously missed my first alignment appointment.
then I get everything set to install and notice both my tie rod ends have ripped boots. previous owner had a brand new set of whiteline ones ready to install as he knew one was torn. so I replace those, not a huge deal, but the car sat on stands for so long the RHS axle popped out...........
so I think that is all, but I go to adjust the fronts (ride height) and the RHS set screw is stripped out.... F^CK. nothing like drilling and tapping plastic to put a larger set screw in.
so my appointment is Tuesday, and being a farmer, we are getting pretty busy this time of year and I just don't have an opportunity to bring it out. Luckily a good friend of mine works about 2 miles from Jeff's shop and will be dropping it off for me tomorrow.... it's just been a battle for me. Hopefully my mitsu ownership experience doesn't continue like this.
long story short, my car has been out of commission since 2/23 and will be just now getting back on the road....
Pic I took today when I had both my "fun" cars out

It definitely needs a drop. I think I'm just going to go with springs for now...so I ordered the Swift Spec-R Springs. There's a pretty epic tread on them at: http://www..*******.com/brakes-suspe...-reviewed.html

When I'm due for tires I'll see how much wider I can go with these wheels
Yes, it's stock....I'm not sure why the rears look like they tilt out like that so much? I think a lot of it is that the fenders flare in on the back and it makes it look like it the picture that there is more negative camber than there really is.
I'm going to get new springs, let those settle in and then go get an alignment. Might have to get a rear camber kit though from what I've been reading after the springs get installed.

Hey guys, I have been curious is there a Z club that meets or something I heard about ZOOM or something like that and I never asked about it. Also, it has been so great to get my Z out, it is funny I am depressed in the winter when I pull up next to a cute girl in my ugly jeep... anyone else feel that? The winter is a **** block!

Most of us are apart of but we've been trying to decide if we should start doing a monthly fee or not. Which than would be used for meets/events or whatever.. There has been some talk that they want us (Minnesota Z's) to hold the next Midwest Z Fest this year but without any paying members or whatever it's going to be hard to do. You need to talk to Dave (smoothZ) on this forum he has more depth about the whole possible having a club fee or not which I support 100% of having.

I have no issues paying a pay fee as long is the club is active you know, I was part of the BCC (Bmw) and they were not active at all to be honest, and I am not looking to drop money for something that I won't be able to enjoy, you know.
