thanks! are there any meets or anything? I know the weather is bad, but no reason we cant all meet and grab some food/drinks and have a mini-meet?

 

Welcome to MN, just in time to experience the nice cold weather that showed up late. I hope to get something going about a meet, I've already discussed this to smoothz aka Dave about getting everyone together but some people are still a little bit busy or occupied, but hopefully soon. Maybe we could get everyone together for the super bowl for something different otherwise towards the end of February.

 

well superbowl, as far as I think, people do stuff with their closest friends/family usually (haha like xmas) so maybe something like it but not as high key. Feb sounds good, i'm excited to get involved in the scene. In dallas, we met fairly regularily, granted the weather there was more cooperative (cept the horrid summers) so i'm just used to meets and car stuff.

 

I know some of those Dallas people from the Useless thread as well as other sites. I wish we had the same weather as Dallas.

I'm down for a mini-meet pretty soon. I'm putting this out there now, but most of my weekends are taken up by the kids' hockey unless we meet in the evenings. I can definitely go out for at least a couple of hours. Maybe I'll start a thread for the meet and link it here.

Whats up new guy, welcome...hope you have more than just teh Z to drive..Google NASA Midwest and you will find where the majority of the nice road tracks are if youre into that. I will be hitting Joliet, IL, Raod America and Brained International several times with my other group...youre welcome to roll with.
I am still working out a deal with the mechanics lien on that 39k mile 2004 Z, its a hell of a deal and that will be DEDICATED track only

 

New guy has a G35, go figure... I swear the G crowd out does the Z crowd 10-1...... Must be because over in Japan the G is the skyline so they think they all own a skyline now or something. But realistically you can't beat the price for a performance luxury vehicle than that of the G.

Other group?? FU man you're no longer welcome..... lol J/k You need to keep me up to date on these track days you're attending would like to go to more than just one this year and other than Brainerd.

haha i didnt buy my g caus ei wanted a "skyline". i dont really care what goes on overseas. I got a g cause i wanted some nicer features on the inside, but i really at this point wish i had got a z, cause it's just a slight bit more fun on the track. i got the g as a daily driver, i didnt think I was gonna mod it. Now it's mostly a track car.

I have an Altima 3.5SE as a DD here right now. the G doesnt get shipped to MN till mid-march.

 

I'm not judging... The G owners do enough of that for everyone

 

Greg, youre always welcome! We all know Gary and Patty so we buy numerous track packs and get a hell kf a deal, usually 8-10passes throughout season and its a serious discount...hell of a gas and tire bill though!
Get the Akenbonos, Im debating, and theyve always been my next logical leap. My return will be ridiculous this year with all my HE **** and buying the house, so we will see....

G musings...Id rather have a maxima w Awd, yet they dont make it...yet.
I have no lil ones, so why would I need a back seat?
Dont like the bodylines as much....but, certain colors look really nice.
Too many 20's and sound systems left a ish taste in my mouth last cruise.
Its still a Nissan product though and Id love a 4door awd, but not in a fukn AT.
