LOL - believe me when I say I'm seriously thinking about it. I was going to put in for vacation time and take 10 days off for it.

Now that's what I like to hear!!!!!!! I took off May 16th - 28th(memorial day).

As of now, we plan to head out early Wednesday(16th) morning. We don't have our cabin until Thursday night the 17th, but the goal is to get down there early Thursday morning to get in and settled, and start the festivities!

Ah, the folly of young guns. Good luck with that, Lance. Knowing you guys, it will take 2+ days to get there. LOL

Don't forget you'll have issues with traffic, speed traps, **** breaks, food breaks, gas breaks, and weather. First time I went down there, I drove into a tropical storm with branches and trees falling on the road into FVR.

Burning oil, went through 1qt in a month in a half. Not a serious issue now (not blowing blue smoke yet) but don't want to wait till the issue gets worst. It's not leaking anywhere either. Don't know what the hell the previous owner did, (probably starved the motor) but I'm looking tho.

Could get the PCV valved checked tho......

I hope we can make it. When I bought my car last fall, I drove it home from Atlanta, GA only stopping for bathroom breaks, a 15 minute nap, and food.

Figure it should go even easier with a line of 9 cars. Its around 18 hours to NC, so if we leave the metro at like 5am, figure knock out 12 hours on day one, we'd be set for a 4-5 hr drive Thursday morning.

I say perfect timing, and use this as a vacation. Come with us, all of the 9 G guys that are going down, we're staying in Holleywood, FL for the full week after zdayz(sun-sat), then that following Monday is a holiday so we'll have a day to recoupe from the 30 hour drive home
