The "daily" just broke 51k, bought it with like 42k on it in october of 2010... so I guess the point is, I really have no where to go (winter), and when I happen to have somewhere to go(summer), I don't have time
Probably helps you have a couple vehicles to drive to! I put 17k on my car so far.. lol bought with 30k, and going to hit 47k this week. Thats 1 year and 1 month. Gotta quit driving so damn much. But it is a daily. Whatever lol.
OK so Im not a new member but Im proud to say Im back in the ownership category. 4 years ago I sold my G35 for an IS300 and a dream build that never materialized due to building a business instead and ever since Ive missed my coupe. Well this last weekend I came across an ad for a 04 Blk/Blk 6spd Z that I thought warranted a further look at and test driven. After meeting the owner and inspecting the car it warranted a test drive and a closer inspection to see if it was meant to be.
Connecting with a long lost friend,
As soon as I pulled out of the neighborhood I instantly remembered just how much I missed my G and how much I loved that car, this car seemed like its more athletic brother and fit like a glove. I returned with the car and got the full rundown on how its been stored every winter (important here in MN with all the salt) and some of the changes he's made since he bought it new. The PO was on his late 30's, bought it new and was almost as picky of an owner as I and was also and audio freak so from day one he had taken the car home and built the stereo. He removed most of the equipment but left the car full floor and hatch Dynamated and used 1/2" neoprene throughout the entire car, boy does it make for a quite ride except all you hear is either the radio or the engine.
Its pretty stock for now
but it already has an intake, Motordyne 5/16 spacer, grounding kit, slotted rotors and cd/dvd nav unit with upgraded speakers. Ive already changed the shift **** but future plans are a little PDR work for a couple of irritants of mine, tint (can't stand the fishbowl look) exhaust, coilovers and maybe a lip kit/spoiler. I will also be doing some painting of bits and pieces along with some carbon vinyl wrapping, as much as I want Wheels and tires they will have to wait until next spring unless I find a killer deal or business rockets up. Ill have more pics in a couple of days weather allowing but here is a teaser. My modding will be a slow process but Im usually good to hang out with or go for a group cruise, except for University ave, not worth getting run over by the usual suspects there.
Good to be back. My name is Ryan and Im also know as Johnny Chimpo on MNSC, but we all know that forum is just for ***** and giggles or the random trolling.

I went to that when they had it at the Rivercentre in St Paul. Pretty cool stuff there. I might go again to the state fair location if the weather is nice.
