Stuck working 2 fukn holidays in a row...awaiting word on that new position and I shall be golden then....until then, enjoying AC on the Ward.

I am on my 24hr/day shifts. I have about 2 hrs right now to enjoy the AC. We are watering non stop. 4 wells running non stop for over a week now. about 10k bucks in fuel.

I cannot wait till fall. that's if I can make it that long

 

We're going to go tubing over by Welch Village on the Cannon River tomorrow. I hear it's supposed to be even hotter.

Yes it is. Will be a very hot miserable day at work. Speaking of miserable, the damn mosquitos are horrible tonight. I stood outside to watch the fireworks for 10sec and got bit 5x..... I knew I shouldn't have been outside when I saw all the bats flying around eating them.

We went to the AV show at Eastview. If you sit on a sheet or blanket, it's not so bad for some reason.

That's the unwritten and crappy part of being a homeowner. Sucks. However, the tax writeoff is nice.
