LOL @ Minnesota weather. That looks like Old Man Winter's finger.

So there's drama on my block that's gotten serious. I may have to open a can of whoopass on someone.

A neighbor with a bunch of kids scared my younger boys so badly on Monday that I came home to them crying. I went down there to have a talk and put him on notice. Last night or the night before, 2 of his kids come over to my house in the evening. They're crying and are scared shitless. Seems he lost his temper and was tearing his wife a new hole and smashing things around in the house. The next day, one of the kids wants my kids to come over to play. We already told them NO. I'm sure that got back to the dad, so now he's being childish and petty and won't let them come over to play at my house. Whatever. If I see him soon, we're going to have words.

Is that the house that the cops have visited on more than one occasion?

Nope, different house. Sadly, that house where all the cops go belongs to some Asian couple who keeps renting it out to the wrong people. This time, it's a halfway house or a homeless shelter. WTF is going on in this world?

Those kinds of people, the more you try to talk to them and make piece, the more they tend to get more aggressive and violent. At the end it leads to fists and knuckles. Careful Smooth, this world is full of crack heads. Just make sure your kids are safe and your property is not being targeted by that punk.

Dave I think you better start a folder on that neighbor, I have a feeling he's running a Somalian internet scam from his computer.

Better make this a DHS priority.

Oh and this guy is probably the one messing with your reflectors last fall, the ones that kept coming up missing.

I'm not too worried about that neighbor. He knows what I do, but he doesn't know what I'm capable of. That should worry him enough.

Please turn your head and cough. Maybe you'll get lucky and have a female do your physical, I had one last time who was actually pretty hot

That's a pretty good compressor. That's the same type we use at my work to maintain air pressure in our 8" pipes throughout the entire warehouses sprinkler system at work. When the pressure dips below 40psi over 2,000 gallons of water comes out per minute. I've almost got to experience it first hand, I got a call from GSSC (General Security Services Corp) saying that the pressure is dropping and made it to work in time to shut off the main water line just as it started to pass through the pipes. They're very low maintenance but like with any big air compressor they're noisy as hell.

it's a big expense. mid 5k just for the compressor... so I am really having a hard time pulling the trigger on it. I know it's a quality machine. Your comments reconfirm it. it is a true industrial grade compressor and should be the last one we need to buy.

We are plumbing it in a separate building from our shop. Our current compressor is in the shop and it is plenty loud. the quincy only runs at 850 rpms (vs 1500+ of our current one) so I am fairly confident it will be a bit quieter for us. Hydrovane makes units that are pretty quiet. 62 db, but the maintenance (2 oil samples per year and over $200 worth of oil and filters per yr to maintain warranty) on them makes them cost prohibitive for our use. With the quincy it is just oil changes every 500 hrs or so.

I have to get a new dryer for the unit as well... our current one can't do the cfm's so that is a grand or two on top of the compressor.

just hope this weather warms up so I can plant some corn to pay for it..

that's a lot...

I used to do a workout that had me doing 50 pullups. however many sets it took to do it. my workout usually looked like this
x 14
x 12
x 8
x 4
x 4
x 4
x 4

Today I did dead lifts, rack pulls, and some squats. I had a rough week last week with my dead lift workout so I cut back on the weight a bit and went for a few more reps.
365 x 12
385 x 10
405 x 9

I pulled them fairly easy, just gets me winded.
