Minnesota Chat Thread
Been doing a little research on the Viper vs Z06 year for year (2006) and I find it a little hard to believe that the Z06 is a little faster than the Viper was in the day. The Viper wins in the looks department and rarity, but you can still find a Z06 quite cheaper than the Viper tho....
Ryan we'll see if I plan on doing it then. I still need to order the parts yet.

Greetings Everyone!
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Scott, i'm 28 years old and live in Faribault Minnesota but spend ~50% of my time in Lakeville minnesota where my girlfriend lives. I just bought my 350z at the beginning of August and I couldn't possibly be happier with it. Since the day i saw the 350z unveiling, thought the car would be 60,000+ and found out it was under 40 grand, i vowed i would must have one! After conquering my absurd 20k+ credit card debt i treated myself to a 2005 Daytona Blue Touring Z 6MT. I was fortunate enough to find this one with 29,XXX miles within driving distance. Long story short, i can't wipe the smile off my face while i'm driving or even thinking about my car!
My other hobbies include competitive paintball, working out, and spending time with my lovely girlfriend and our families.
I look forward to possibly meeting some of you some day, and am excited to see how many people share my passion for these gorgeous, fun, cars.
Cheers!
Scott

Welcome Scott. Pics of the Z or it didn't happen.
Greg, I should be able to make it over on Saturday. I still need to put the new brake pads on and do the slave cylinder line. I can always lend an extra hand to your project. I'll bring over beer.
Ryan, I'm sending some G Men over to your house tonight.
BTW, Elysium was awesome.
And finally, they're building a Chik-Fil-A by the Cub on Cedar Ave.

Welcome Scott, congrats on the new Z and getting that 20k CC debt paid off. Me and SmoothZ are in the Apple Valley Area near Lakeville border, but anyways there is a Z Sonic meet in Bloomington every other Friday. You just missed the last one so you'll have to wait two weeks for the next one. Hope to see ya there!!! My name is Greg.
He was on the verge of doing the LS1 swap but I don't know if it was the funds was the problem or just lost interest in it all together, I don't know I can't speak for him. I think he just wanted to get back into riding again, and insurance on a rocket and Z would be pretty expensive, plus racing on a bike is a little more economical than a car. Wish him the best and hopefully will find his way back in a Z in the future.
Sounds like a good time on the river Dave. Dana and I went down the Cannon last weekend...I wish we could say that the most exciting thing to happen was that we "Saw a bald eagle fly over us"....we're lucky we made it home alive
So I know this is the Z forum but Lexus is coming out with the RC ( SC replacement) possible specs are 2.0L TURBO 6 and V8 for the F model. So what this means......is aggressive competition for the Z and also more hopes for next Gen Supra coming soon (since previous SC's were related to the Supra). Also the NSX, NISMO GTR, i8 Bimmer should be revealed this September. So even though I don't like summer ending I can't wait to see all these new rides shown at Frankfurt Auto Show(September) and Tokyo Auto Saloon (December)
Also those new IS models look so damn sickkkkkkk!!!
