Time to start modding the Z again, gotta get my fuel guage figured out with Aaron and also wanna get a nismo exhaust set up. Anybody know of someone who is getting rid of theirs for a good price? keep your eyes open and let me know!

Does your fuel gauge read only half full when you put in a whole tank of gas or the fuel lvl drops really fast but still have alot of fuel?
If so it's your fuel lvl sensor, the Z has two of them in the gas tank, one being behind each seat of the Z, however the one behind the passenger seat where your fuel pump is the sensor is connected to the fuel pump itself. There is no way in telling if one sensor is bad from the other, your best bet is to just replace both but are a little spendy, if you do opt to try one to see if it works go ahead, you have a 50/50 shot.

I had to do this for my Z for i was having the same issue with the fuel, it is quick it can be done in 30 min if you know what you're doing, for me i ended up just replacing both of them and got a new fuel pump as well (was only an extra $50 for a new fuel pump with the fuel lvl sensor attached to it already otherwise you'll have to take off the old one from the fuel pump and replace, and with plastic pieces you could accidentally break on of the plastic clamps on the fuel pump so be careful)

Other than that that's about it

 

yeah Aaron seems to think he knows what is going on so i just hope that i can get it resolved cuz it would be nice to actually have a full tank for once haha. Janik you little girl, how much is he getting them for? my buddy said the cheapest he could find was 200 so 189 was pretty good???

Here's a bad shot of my new wheels for those who wanted to see them. Just the played out TE look so I'm told but I love 'em. 19x9.5/10.5, 255/35 and 275/35. Still waiting for the black Rays lugs. Still very undecided about coilovers just for a little drop.
