Janik you need unrevised springs. The ones you are picking up should be exactly what you need

That I'm not sure about, Steve is doing the same thing to his sedan. I don't recall him mentioning changing shocks.

I think im gonna have to swap them out due to no sport shocks.

Does anyone have any stock Z shocks laying around they are willing to toss my way?

Also try the classified section here, usually there are a few people looking to get rid of their stock struts.

Looking local first, get rid of the hassle and cost of shipping.. but i will check it out if none of you have them.

Oem springs 350Z’s 2003/2004
Front:314 Rear:342

Oem springs 350Z 2004.5/2005 (found 04 car's that have the revised susp.)
Front:314 Rear:427

Any spring or coil over that has “stiffer then oem springs by” does not factor in the higher rear spring rates of 04.5+350Z’s, figures are for 03/04 car's.

Here is what I found for Steve (en4cer) earlier for the Z spring rates.

So Hotchkis springs are roughly 340/330 f/r.

How will this affect the handling?

And what exactly is "revised" about them?

I don't believe it. I'm still in @#$%^&* shock.
I've had my car for maybe 3 weeks, I always park it at the opposite end of carparks. I park it miles from anyone at work and yet some person of dubious parentage has gone and opened their door into my otherwise perfect car!
I'm so... arrrgghh. Damn mornons who don't give a about other peoples property.

I need a huge mug of tea.
Anyone know any good paintless dent removers in the Twin Cities?

Voted for ya Steve the other day on mnsc.

Munkyking....I met you at the meet last saturday but sorry I forgot your name...anyways Dent Kraft out of Plymouth does some of the best work I've seen. I've gotten 2 dents popped out of my car by them. One was right along the body line crease of the quarter panel and you can't even tell it was ever there. These guys are top shelf and won't put any holes anywhere that you can see them.(unlike the dealership who drilled through my ****ing door jamb to fix one and now I have an ugly plug in it)
