Jeezus, Aaron. You should have texted us as a group to come over and help.

BTW, I'll send my oldest son over to your farm to help out. He needs some sun.

I already had too many cooks in the kitchen by the point I got the car back. didn't want to complicate it any more.

The oldest has a permit but doesn't want to practice for the license. This is it. He's going to get it done this summer. I'm not effing around anymore.

you got the trans in? other issues?

my car is running decently now... still need to throw some time and money into cleaning up a few things with the fuel system, but overall it is good and been driving it as much as I can.

car is sitting at 440 hp @ 11 psi.

plan now is to go for more boost in the fall. before I do that I need to install a single FPR and get rid of the APS dual FPR setup. Also install two inline fuel filters feeding the rails. I would like to move up to a 1300cc injector, but having some serious sticker shock right now and funds are low...

Yup transmission has been in since may. I had a couple clutch issues but that has been fixed as well the clutch engagement needed to be adjusted. First done by DB the second time by me and now shifts perfectly and smoothly.

Aight, so my Z has had an interesting few days. Maintenance and screws, and prices of super sports and all that jazz. But most importantly questions for thought. So I'm grinding only when I shift into 6th gear (I used to be able to avoid it by keeping the shifter all the way to the left, but know it's almost every time). And the other issue, my clutch pedal kind of sticks when I've been doing a lot of frequent shifting. It still shifts fine, but the travel of he pedal starts decreasing and the engagement point starts to change. Flush and replace fluids maybe?

I would say that's a good start and the "easiest" and "cheapest" to do first.

How many miles on your Z trans or clutch?

BTW, did you make it to C&C?

Hey all, just wanted to say hello. I am a non-z owner tossing the idea of getting one within the next year. Not sure if I want to go with 350z or 370z though, guess it would depend on the deal. How does everyone enjoy theirs?

Wayzata has over a dozen 370's in their lot. It's crazy.

I checked craigslist the other day and saw less than 20 350Z's for sale.

I have seen a lot of their ads on craigslist for their cars, most would be more than I want to spend though. I have been doing some searching in Texas also for fun since I have good friends down there I visit on the regular and would probably be a nice option vs. a northern car. I do have to decide what to do on my current fleet of cars though to make it practical to own a 350/370z as a summer car.

How's the car scene for 350/370z's here in MN? I've heard of MNNI and heard good things.

It's alright. Depends on what kind of groups you like to hang out with.

I like meeting good and decent people and then doing our own thing. The big crowds don't appeal to me as much as it used to.
