Anyone up for a gathering on Saturday night? I heard last week's was pretty good. (I missed out being out of town.)

Well, my daughter is having a group of her friends for a sleepover on Saturday and I need to escape!!

Options:

(#1) Fun Run to Hell Michigan: (A scenic area with lots of curvey roads and places to gather.) Afterwards, we head over to Zukey Lake Tavern. If we have a large enough crowd, they will section off part of the parking lot for us. Even if we don't have a big crowd, I hear the parking lot is long and there's always places for groups to park together. The roof top bar should be a nice place to hang. See their website.

I participated in this run with the Michigan Ferrari Owner's Club a couple years ago. The meeting place would be at the Sunoco Station off Exit 49 (North Territorial Road) on Rt23. I have two routes to take depending on the time we want to spend. Either route is carefully planned to minimize the possibility of the group getting separated or lost.

(#2) Meet up on Woodward again We can meet up on Woodward at Street Legal and cruise together.

(#3) Join the Ann Arbor Sport Compact Car Club Weekly Meet (http://www.a2sportcompacts.com) at 8pm on Saturday night in Ann Arbor. (They have weekly meets at the Briarwood Mall) There are usually one or two dozen cars there. They usually start to meet up at 8pm and stay till around 10pm.

(#4) We can do a combination of the above: (#1) Run to Hell in the late afternoon, then meet up at Zukey Tavern for dinner. (#3) Caravan to Ann Arbor for the A2SCC meet at 8pm, hang for a short while then (#2) head to Woodward.

For those who haven't gone to Hell yet (stop laughing); it is a pretty cool place. Nice roads but it's best not to go too crazy on them. It's certainly not the Dragon, but still worth some good times and photo opportunities as a group.

I'm open to whatever you all would like. I may open this up on Xceedspeed and A2SCC for more attendance.

The only thing ever broken was the G. And I got hit by a damn 2X4 or something. Both other Z'z ran like freight trains still when I gave them back.

.Well due to popular demand we will be doing the Lake Michigan drive again on June 27th, 2009. The first one was a hit and the guys had a blast so they want to do it again. Like to see even more of you guys. I think this time i will be getting better footage. possibly getting a film crew for some of our events as well.

we will meet at leggs inn at1130 am at the end of tunnel of trees then do the route in reverse.

Different strokes for different folks. So long as it's automotive related, there's nothing wrong with it. A true car nut appreciates all types of events.
