Deepu and Steve, are you guys driving up the night before or are you going in the morning? Since I don't sleep anymore, I plan on driving up in the morning. Let me know if you want to caravan. If not, see you guys there - keep your fingers crossed that I can avoid some of my braking issues.

 

I'm driving over to South Haven tomorrow afternoon. Staying at a hotel. Man, it's going to be COLD out there. I'm bringing snow-chains..

 

Yup - its going to take 2 laps just to warm up the tires.

 

I was all set to go and arranged to drop off my wheels with Ken but now I am not sure. It's supposed to be a mix of rain and snow tomorrow. It would suck if I got into a fender bender driving to the track because of the snow.

The likelihood that we get any appreciable amount of snow is super low.

I am leaving on Saturday morning - they will cancel the event if it snows. It is supposed to be cold, but sunny on Saturday. You can drive up with me on Saturday morning. You can always pay Ken at the track or make other arrangements.

 

It looks like a 2.5hr drive, so would you start at 5:30?

 

Yup...its early, I know. Its actually a nice drive - plus, there is absolutely no traffic. I kind of like it. Its about the only time I get some serious peace and quiet (I have two little kids).
