I had a similar thing happen to me when I bought my Z, but then realized that they marked up my Z as well as the trade in, so it worked out as far I cared. It just didn't build confidence in their business tactics.

Angry Nissan Dealer

Yeah, I almost buoght from them, they had the Z I wanted with the options I wanted, it all sounded pretty sweet over the phone, then I took a ride down there, it was all downhill from there. They tried to jack me around with additional service fees, some security system I did not want and they lied about the finance rates, I kept my cool and walked out the, next day they called and called, saying they ewre sorry, bla, bla. Iam out of there.

They had at least a $5000 mark up on all Zs when they first came out. I laughed and continued waiting for my pre-order.

I found that a lot of dealerships the Schaumburg area are crooked. The Mazda dealership was only going to give my mother $4000 for her Del Sol. She took it to CarMax who gave her $9,000. That's too big a difference.
My co-worker went to the Chevy dealer and test drove a '93 Rx-7 which had a sticker price of $9000. He said he'd be back in 2 days. He returns with the cash, ( He saved for about 2 yrs) and thr price had jumped up to $13,000. This is right after the F&F movie, and they must have realized the attention the car was getting. He still got it for $9k.

I think the dealerships in the Downers Grove area are a little better.

Check everything that you signed, I guarentee they slipped that price someone in there and you signed for it.

I doubt you have a case. What did they quote you for the Nismo wheels and exhaust? Did you get that in writing?

That has to be a USED Touring, there is no way you got a new Touring for $29K.

Like I said earlier, there's no way you paid $29K for a brand new touring?

$36 sounds more like it.

$29308 is the invoice price on a touring, I can't believe you would get a new one for $29K.

Once you add the taxes, ect, $33-36 sounds about right.

When I bought my car in January, these slimeballs wouldn't budge more than $500 under MSRP. I was able to get a much better deal purchasing my car in Wisconsin. And then called Woodfield back to tell them about it

i got my track for 36000 out the door. we knew the sales manager and that was the best deal we got. i was told that my car would take a month to get here, but it ended taking up to about 2 1/2 months. i ordered it just the way i wanted it, and everywhere else said an order would take until up and coming april. they werent going to give me **** for my 2001 Ford Explorer Eddie Baurer edition, with no accidents or body damage. they said it was worth like 14,000.
