i'm lookin at this set of ray's engineering versus wheels, but the only thing holdin me back from buyin them is the fact that they're cast wheels instead of forged. would you guys risk runnin with cast wheels in wisco??

i think that stock wheels are cast. As long as you monitor the air pressure regularly, you should be fine. And I have met with the guy whose got the blue z with veilside lip and gram lights (sp?). I heard he raced my friend who had 5at redline z. Also saw lemans sunset orange z with nismo spoiler on the highway. Saw a fast *** silver procharged z on the highway too. I see way too many z's now.

I'd have to go with blizzaks unless I could find a beater. Tried to drive it through the snow with these performance tires, spun out twice, got stuck in the ditch and had to leave it parked two blocks away from my apartment building.

yikes... yea man any tires besides snow tires absolutely suck a.ss in the snow. i tried goin up a driveway with snow last year with the stock tires and i just kept spinning. hope you still have your stock wheels to throw those blizzaks onto.
on a related note, my winter beater just died on me...
so hopefully i can either get it fixed or have a new beater by tomorrow cuz it's supposed to snow again

Hi all you WISZ owners. I am one also. My tags read ZILCHUS and I believe I am the only Z chick in WI. I live between Mad & Mil. in a town called Ft.Atkinson. My Z boy is up for winter. Any of you going to the ZDAYZ event? Mine is a Sliverstone/ Burnt orange int, 6mt, only mod pioneer system w/ navi

They have a web site. It is in N.Carolina. I am caravaning with 2 guys so far from Minnesota. My name is Tami. My Z is a brand new 04 touring. It was special ordered and not delivered. My friend owns the Nissan Dealership. Got a great deal. It was my B-Day present from husband. Just big enough for me and my purse. Husband has not even driven it. He says it's mine all mine.

welcome tweeks! i gotta say though, it's been a proven fact that i am the ORIGINAL silverstone in all of wisconsin... lol
anyways, agenda for the winter time is to definitiely get some new wheels. thought about installing BBK but i think i might just swap out stock brake pads for some Hawk HP+ pads. as for the maybes, i might install the full vertex kit minus the spoiler, cuz i'm so freakin indecisive on which spoiler/wing to go with. might order some stuff from clearcorners.com too. i was gonna go f/i, but that might have to wait til later cuz i'm gonna end up having to use the f/i money for a new winter beater.
