I did get a reply. Not much info that was useful. I'm ready to move forward. Will send the email in the am.

Can't do Thursday - have to stay home with one of the kids. My wife is taking the other to a play date or something like that. With that said, I am free after 9pm.

Thursday if I am out of work by then...
Got some REALLY late meetings

Why are we trying to do these during the work week?
Wouldn't weekends be easier

Just a thought, I'm not an officer

I believe that we decided to do weekdays as it was easier for all so that weekends are left for people to spend sometime in summer.

Dang it, I just realized its my Birthday on 29th. So I am not sure if I will show up that day.

I'm free next weekend, but this weekend is mid-ohio for Rob, Deepu, and me and the weekend after next is the Jawbreaker for Brian and me...

Crazy damn summer.

No, no Deepu.

I was talking about tomorrow night, not next week. Sorry for the late notice but this week's business trip cancelled and moved to next week.

This will be a smaller meeting, still as formal as we can get. Looks like myself, Rob, Lee H and Kyle can attend. (Maybe Deepu.)

Since we have no time to vote on a meeting place, I will just pick one and go with it. I've selected one in Livonia so te drive is not too long for Kyle and Lee H, it's off the interstate and on the way home and not too far away for Rob. (You can take M14 to I275 if you're leaving work)

Buca Di Beppo Italian Restaurant.
38888 6 Mile Road, Livonia -
Restaurant Ph # (734) 462-6442

Meet there at 7:30pm. Leave before 9pm.

Table will be under Brian May

It won't be very crowded on a week night, lots of big tables in several rooms, they have beer and you can get food if you want.

Sound good? Please confirm you will attend so I can make reservations. I will also send an email.

Works for me.

I have an inspection scheduled for tomorrow evening. I should be done before that, but there is a possibility that I might be a few minutes late.

The first question is - Do you really need one? I was talking to Howard (Gilson) about this and he was like you will not need it. And he suggested that I first use a temp guage and check the levels and then go for an install if required. Most of us don't even drive the car that hard. I think Lee has a reason as he is seeing high temps on his guage.

I don't see how it could hurt. One of the best benefits of the cooler is the increased oil capacity. Since I dare not go with a deep oil pan, I was considering doing one too. (With one exception, I was hoping to make a kit to relocate the oil filter to a dual filter setup.) I did this on my old Chevelle.

Sorry, I got off topic. See you guys at the meeting tomorrow night.

Like Brian said, it couldn't hurt

And from my understanding when you install the oil cooler, the sandwich plate can have holes to install the oil temp sensor

Yep! Had the front fascia off at 8:05 this morning and was done by 1:00 including a fairly long check ride to get oil dry and a grease gun, lunch, and a while on the phone with my dad. Only mishap was that the damned oil pan didn't want to drink so I put a quart of oil on my driveway. Hardest part was finding a way to route the huge *** braided SS lines with minimal rub.

Yeah I'm at 6qt now and I *think* I may want to add a little bit. I'll have to check now that it's cooled off. Temps are looking good too!
