I wish I had time to do anything to the Z!! Dam life is so busy I just get to rip on it as I drive from place to place. I am going to get new tires in the next week or so. I am going to go with 245/40/18 front and 275/40/18 rear. I am thinking Nitto NT 555's.

Hey guys,

I can't find anyone in my area that I'm comfortable with installing FI in my area. I'm only an hour south of the Detroit area. For any of you guys who've gone FI, what shop did you use and would you use them again??

Thanks for any input.

BrianLG35C,

As far as I know, etx and myself are the only TT Z's in the area. We are both running the Greddy TT set up and both purchased our kit from Godspeed Inc. Etx installed his own kit and I had my kit installed by Godspeed. They have all the expertise and knowledge to install the kit and properly tune it via street and dyno tuning. Plus, they have the capability to fabricate parts if there is a problem with any parts of the kit (i.e) bungs don't line up on manifolds etc. If you go to www.godspeedinc.com you can take a look at their shop. Also, my Z is on the site as a project car. Give them a call and talk to Dan. Tell him that Shawn (my real name) sent you.

Yancy,

Thanks for the reply. I've heard good and bad things (just hearsay) about Godspeed so I wasn't sure of their expertise. I appreciate the recommendation. I'd love to meet up sometime with you or etx and go for a ride on your Z-Express! I regularly go up to Suburban Infiniti in Novi for service and could drive a little further, if you guys are ever available.

I sure either one of you have been asked this before but do you have any regrets? Anything you would do differently or possibly rather gone with a supercharger?

Again thanks for the info!

No regrets, exept for the hole it left in my wallet. I made a 12.9 second pass at 5.5 psi on the stock greddy fuel map and pulling about 8 degrees of timing while under boost. Once I tune it and turn up the boost a little I'll hit Milan again.

My Z sprung a leak today! It's leaking PSF, I dunno where from. I'll have to drive the eclipse until I find time to look at it.

I am up for the meet as long as Yancy and Cain69 are coming out.

Anyone have an updated list for Saturday's meet. How many are planning to go. I got an email from another Brick owner. I think we are going to have a arm wresting match to see who has to move or sell. There can be only one.

damn. hope your son feels better jason. let me know when you plan on heading out to milan.

there doesnt seem to be all that much interest in this meet. it is because of the drive? only 1 person on the g35 site shows interest. if anything, THIS would be the meet to go to.

i got an email from an owner of a later model z. he was talking about getting a "track" meet going, as in a track not a dragstrip. he gave me some info which ill pass on to you guys come this monday. maybe we can shoot for that as our next gathering.

leaky etx??

since only 2 poeple showed interest in heading over to stony creek together, its basically going to be every man/woman for themselves. we'll just meet up at stony creek and maybe have enough space to park next to each other.
10 Z's would be GREAT!!!! come on people.

It probably is too late to organize a caravan but I would be up for meeting at Fuddrukers (19 & Van Dyke) at noon to head out around 1. These guys are having a BBQ so I prefer arriving after lunch. If no takers, I'll just show up around 1-1:30 at Stoney.

The park is big, we'll have to drive around to find out which site they reserved. I did not see it mentioned on their tread.

Soon to come: pictures of me and Eric Hill with the Porsche Club at Waterford Hills Racetrack.

its not any tsb or accident work. i've said too much. that is all for now. good day.

MySunset350Z,
I must be the only one here that remembers you talking about getting lambo doors. That has to be it You do realize that it is going to look sweeeet if that's what you're doing. I may have to follow suit.

etx, I plan on going to Stony Creek on Sat seeing that I only live a few miles from it. Check your PM on ecu. I just found out today that I have blown about 1/3 of the gasket out of the passenger side wastegate. I should be able to drive it around like this without damaging anything right. (I took it to midas after I thought my Borla was leaking - turned out to be the wastegate). I need to get it to Godspeed next week or I'll be taking it somewhere else that is more conveniently located to me. Are these gaskets something that will need to be special ordered?

Yancy, Are you sure the gasket is bad? I have heard of the wastegates coming loose. I would take it to godspeed because they won't charge you to fix it, but who knows how long it will take. If the gasket is bad I'm sure you can find one locally, godspeed may have some in stock. If they do and you don't want to drive all the way out there I can pick it up from them and bring it out saturday for ya. I made the drive out to your side of the woods a few weeks ago, and as fun as it is driving the Z that's still a long drive!

Worst comes to worse Tial is actually located in Owasso, MI. You could order one from them.
