Default Iowa Zs

Well, I know that there are some out there because I have seen one or two on the road, but I have not seen anyone posting on this forum. Anyone out there interested in getting together sometime? I am in Cedar Falls.

I am acually an Iowa native but live in the Quad City area now. My Z in stored for the winter (except those few nice days) but I would be interested in seeing what you have done. I just have some aftermarket wheels on my Z right now but want to put a CAI on (probably Injen) and an exhaust system (Borla TD, or another dual cat back system; any suggestions?) I actually wanted a sunset but got a silverstone from Nissan of Ames right after I graduated from Iowa State. Hopefully I will see you soon.

There are a few Iowans around here. I don't post much during the winter while the Z is in storage. I'm around here more and put on alot of miles when the weather is nice. I live in Sioux City but am in Des Moines and Iowa City often. Maybe this spring we can organize a meet.

A meet sounds good, somtime in the early spring when we can all bring the Z's out of storage.

I am glad to see that there are more Iowans out there. I still drive my Z in the winter (Blizzaks) because it is my second car. Kinda odd yes as in Iowa one would think a second vehicle should be a truck or SUV for the winter but I love this car and felt that the only real problem in the winter would be too much snow at once. The Blizzaks are pretty nice tires and I get around better then most vehicles on the road with their A/S tires. I would enjoy getting together with some other Z owners and defiantely think that spring/summer/fall is a much better time to do so than now. I have spent way too much on mods but I have an addictive behavior so I am sure I am not quite done yet. Seeing some of the numbers the TTs are putting down really makes me want one

You sold it?! Problems or looking at something else? Still come to the "Iowa Summer Meet" in whatever your driving.

I have a problem with always wanting something different. I would love the Z as a 2nd car but I was just getting a little tired of driving it everyday. For now I'm just going to save my money and drive my wifes old 99 Camry.
