Whats up everyone!

Picking up my Z this Saturday! Its a 07' base with 5k miles. Its Carbon Silver Matallic. Bone Stock.

In the past I have had 94' Rx7, 10' MazdaSpeed 3, Many 2nd gen
Rx7's turbo and non-turbo.

Had to trade the Speed 3 to get the wife a car. Newly married. So got her a
10' Prius. We've been driving that. Its nice we've been getting 55mpg. Cheap
to fill up. But I do miss having something fun to look at and drive.
I test drove a new 370z. I really like it, but don't want the second big
payment while still paying for the Prius. So I started looking at the 350z.
So I found a nice 07' base with 5k miles. Still has the new car smell.
So kind of like still buying a new car for cheaper price.

I have been with the rotary guys to Deals Gap many times. And I plan on
going with my Z also. Its just a really fun time!

I'll have pictures up this weekend!

Cool,Thanks! Don't have any plans this year. I'm new to the Z and have a little
bit of learning and researching to do. But I'm sure I'll have a small list
for either winter or spring. I'd like to get 330 to 350 to the wheel.
That should make it pretty fun with out going for big hp. But if its
anything like the Speed 3 I had. Even that's asking to much. I want to
keep it reliable also.

Welcome! It looks like I got a free ticket to this Saturday's Nissan Z and GTR event at MidOhio this Saturday. If it's not taken, can you use it?

Definitely check out Zroc. I joined up this year, though I haven't been available for any of the events. I'll be at MidOhio Saturday with my brother in law on Saturday.

Thanks for the offer for the tickets! I was supposed to pick up the my Z
Saturday. But my check I was waiting for didn't come yet. So I guess I
should have the check Monday or Tuesday. So the plan now is to pick
it up Wednesday or Friday. I took a trip Saturday to look at it. And it is
what he said it is. I felt like I was sitting in a brand new car! Can't wait to
pick it up. I got a couple pictures that I will post up.

Welcome! Glad to see that you've set your sights low. 350 whp NA even on the HR is a pretty impressive accomplishment.

Thank You! 350hp too high. Is 320hp reachable? Pretty much I'll probably
be looking at full exhaust, intake, and a tune to start out.
I have a lot to learn on the Z. I drove her Saturday, and I can see I'm
going to love driving her! And I love the looks of the Z! And those are
the most important thing!

ok, started looking at some other forum members build threads.
How about 300hp. And even then I'll be lucky to hit that it looks like.
I'm learning here. And this forum has plenty to learn from!

Keep researching... There is also a few of us around here that are more than willing to lend a helping hand. Got any questions feel free to ask.

As for as a tune, it's not really worth it till you are done with all the bolt ons you plan to do. Just an fyi.

HR intakes are about as efficient as you can get... the upgrade isn't worth the money.
exhaust will help especially if you remove the cats and get test pipes.
After that a tune will get you there...
300-310 whp is definitely achievable with just the basics.

Cool, thanks! Yeah I won't get a tune till all bolt ons are on the car.

I'm still researching. Didn't know the stock intakes are the most efficient.
Thanks for the info! Yeah I have seen that 310hp looks reachable. I think I was reading
The build threads on the previous engine DE. Looks like they have a harder time with getting horse power from bolt ons.

Thanks again for the info guys! I picked her up last Friday. Absolutely loving her!!!
