it's a fairly small track and pretty tight. but the only other track i've been to is gingerman. handling is more important than hp at waterford. turn 3 is the trickiest, turn 8 is a nice sweeper.

I've been there a bunch of times...it's a great track! There are some turns that can be tricky (turn 3 [a.k.a skeethouse] is a very tough one to carry any speed through). I will give you a warning: watch yourself on turn 1 (Gulch)...the road drops away so make sure to get all your braking done BEFORE the drop off. Turns 1 & 3 are the most common for agricultural excursions.

Yup, Waterford is a great place to show off the chassis and tires...Hoosiers will make you faster than a turbo kit! Oh yeah, and you'll sleep really well after a day of driving this track!

Default Thanks for the input

Thanks all for the input!!

My colleague_A has 2002 Mustang GT, and colleague_B has 2004 Neon SRT4. We plan on visiting this track during summer (My Z is on order, will not come in until March-April)

Rgd,
Mickey

Mickey, that an interesting crew you've got there! Anyway, what club were you looking at running with? I highly recommend going with the Porsche club (Rally Sport Region). They're a great group of guys, have awesome instructors, and run a tight ship. That is, if Waterford doesn't dick them around again this year...

I'm hoping to get out there at least once this summer (I've gotta see how cash flow is...I want to get my SCCA license this summer and I've found an awesome vehicle dynamics/telemetry systems class I want to take). I also want to hit Gingerman too (it was fun last year). Let me know when you go...
