are we going to try to do something before the season ends? if not, we should just set up a milan meet in early-mid october. i konw of atleast 2 other people the will show. u know who u r.

by the way. i had a nitrous backfire 2 days ago. poped the intake off of its rubber hose. filter was trashed and looked like a marshmellow from the explosion. the inside of the intake was all charred up. it was either the 87 octane my buddy put in it when he borrowed it (i didnt find out until after the backfire), or a power drain from the new battery i got. bla.

 

how does that happen !?

 

how ever it happens it did not sound good that is for sure! any other damage to the car?

 

it guess it happens from time to time with higher end shots. i actually got pretty lucky. i kept one of the intake clamps off so when the backfired happened all that happened was my filter took a beating and the intake hose popped off. if the clamp was on there, i probably would be looking for a new front bumper or maybe even a hood. everything else checks out okay. i just had to take off the intake to clean it from the inside from all the charring.

i've added so many things to the car since the last time i sprayed so its going to take some more time for me to figure out what caused it. i've got it narrowed down to either a power drain from my new smaller battery, 87 octane that was put in my car accidently (by my buddy), or just puddling.

everything else that causes this type of thing happens at low speeds and low rpms, but i was at 70mph and just under 4k when it happened.

the car is fine by the way.

hey guys. yeah the car never ended up selling. i guess i was meant to keep it
so i threw some wheels on it yesterday. and im going to get an injen straight tip exhaust on it in the next few weeks. i want to meet up with everyone before it gets cold out ! especially since i've been MIA for 2 months, i need to see all the new mods!!

that was my sister driving with her friend in the car. how were they acting in it? i dont like her friend too much, she'z a bit shady but i need proof. heh.

we've tried the milan thing before. there isnt much interest there. that and its really not worth the drive unless you plan on running your car.

what other options do we have?
