would anyone be willing to let me borrow their stock exhaust pipes that are replaced with test pipes. I think they are way to overprices and want to get them done at a shop. If its even worth while maybe ill turn it into a group buy who knows.

THANKS

I am in love with the body kits on mdacko's and zlessnomore's Z, it sure transform the car to another level visually.

It was nice to meet everyone, other than Mike, it's the first time I see everyone in person, it's good to associate a face to a screen name.

Mike's got a pretty sweet garage, it's clean with ample light for working on cars. (perfect for putting in that Twin Turbo)

Great effort by Ryan(afterdarkZ) to drive out from GR to Ypsi. I think we got a pretty nice local group of Z enthusiast going on here.

Too bad I had to leave early. One of my friend(known as Mr.procrastinator) wanted me to buy a set of Queen size bed from SAMS because his mom is schedule to arive for visit in next 4 hours. After I bought the item from SAMS, delivered to his apt, I end up help cleaning up the place, returned about $40 worth of MillerLite cans.

Hope to run into you all more often.

Rgd,
Mickey

i just got of the phone with alex at black cat custom and he was willing to talk group buy on a new face plate for the Z. it will be better than factory install and will have the Z logo in it. bad news is not ready yet and they will need the whole cluster to do it all at once. he said it was cheaper to get the cluster than to send out replacements done to their specs. also they can change the color of the lighting to match the cars in some cases. i saw it on the tuner show speed channel, alex also told me in the next few weeks they will be airing a tuned 350Z that he said should rock! fyi to all!! i will let you know when he calls me back and how much and when we can start sending our clusters in. Zlessnomore. Jack sits 3" off the ground. Let me know if you want me to get you one. I think it was $69.

I agree with mysunset350z. If you're going to go FI, go TT. More torque, more power, better power and torque curves, etc. A supercharger doesn't see peak power until red line and is belt driven. I beileve to up boost you have to change out the belt. If you have a TT set up with a boost controller, all you need to do is hit a button to up boost to what ever you desire (as long as you have the fuel system to deliver enough fuel under higher boost and the bottom end to stand the pressures from all the torgue and power.) I missed the program that you guys are talking about, but if the guy went FI and only has 300 rwtq, he still will get his *** handed to him by a lot of cars. Another benefit with a TT over a SC is the room for future growth in power and torque. There's about 12 or so guys on here that are building their blocks for more boost. Some are SC and some are TT. My prediction is that you'll see the TT guys running consistently and substantially higher numbers than the SC guys.

on a sc you have to change the belt and the pullies to make it get more hp. had a 671 on a 350 lt1 small block in my camaro way way way back when! so you have a major point on the tt vs sc issue.

It's good to see Z enthusiasts get together! It's too bad that it happened after I left. I would have enjoyed watching the suspension install and the opportunity to meet up. I recently moved to St. Louis and it seems to be a black hole for auto enthusiasts.

The good news is I get to drive my Z.
Cheers

Mike, how are things going with you?
