Good luck with that. For you to be able to spend that, the car will have to be a salvage title and in fair value. Clean 03 with high miles hover around 10k

With $5k you could get a clean 240SX or even maybe a 300ZX

i would go the 240 route with clean title vs a salvaged 350

Oh well, thank you! For those that response to the post. I don't mine if the car is a salvage, nor the mileage. I did found a couple that's are less than 7 thousand on craigslist, just don't trust the people that's on it.

Is this car for the street or track? I would never get a salvaged car for the street. From what I hear insurance is a nightmare on salvaged vehicles. High premiums and most will not cover collision, only liability but the cost is comparable to a clean title car with full coverage.

If this isn't a troll thread, check out the Z/G parts page on Facebook. There are always a handful of cheap Z's for sale, just saw one for 5,500...
