Thanks for filling out the form, being that the interest was phenomenal, it's a GO. We had to gauge the interest, before committing, as the cost to reserve the raceway, plus insurance required a few big ones

first off i would like to know how many in total are going, i cant wait for this and an actual date of this so i can take offand departure time. Also is anyone going from the north east area that wouldnt mind meeting up for the trip

On a more serious note; I am afraid I do not have all the specifics at this point; as the legal department is working on the rules & insurance package; and that will take at least 3 weeks. The process gets rather complex, as you know we have an extremely litigious society.

Our club is getting a head start with the reservations, and we’d like to share that with the Zee and Gee communities. The number of time slots gets a little tighter for newbie’s, as we can only have a certain number of rank novices for each licensed instructor.

We foresee a larger number of rank novices signing up, as most of us may have driving experience on the drag strip and messing around with rubber cones; how many of us have had actual track time on one of NASCAR’s competitive courses.

Those wishing to book for slot time with the ZGCA members, the early birds, raise your hands; and those uncertain, by all means wait for the official announcements.

However, slot time will be allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

The 2 days will also include other activities, such as car shows, equipment demonstration, etc.

I'm not a member but I'd like to go... I
d also be considered a novice driver as well, so I'd need an instructor.

 

It is open to all interested; however, we have a block of confirmed track time slots for our ZGCA members, and we are happy to share with others who are interested.

Track time slots plus instructions will be in short supply, give us your definite desire to participate and we'll have you included with the rest of our members.

350Zzzz I sent you a PM about a month ago with my personal info and letting you know that I will need an instructor. If there is any other info you need let me know.

 

Showing up on the day itself and expecting to secure track time, would be dicey. You have to understand that this June Pocono Raceway event is a joint effort between ZGCA & SCCA and SCCA has 60,000-member throughout the US.
