I can't imagine my Z without the APS TT any more. It's an easy drive until you get on the gas -- then hold on!

hey guys, I am also from CT, Willimantic CT near Storrs CT (UCONN). My car is at the bodyshop getting the bodykit painted and installed (V3). I should have it back next weekend. Vic, I will let you know when I am ready to drive up to XX and meet you up there. I will also let you know about the clear film. I went to the pike last year, and it was ok. I meet a girl with a Z. I for got her name, but I remember she liked my wheels . Let me know if you guys come up with a meet date and location......

 

Small world...I've got a buddy in Willimantic who's a TA at UConn. I usually make a run down there every couple months, so maybe I'll see you around the next time I'm in the neighborhood.

 

Was she in a Chrome Silver Z? If so, that was Stacey and she's coming to the Cape Cod meet with us. Her screenname is SHIFTS on the list.

Let me know when your car is done as I'd like to check it out. Next Saturday some of us will be getting together at XXTuning as my car should be going on the dyno to see what the APS TT puts out. If you want to stop by, we'll be there from around 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.

so any thing going to be going on june 5- 20 ill be in town for that time frame before going to school down in florida for 5 weeks lol

 

Tommy, there's nothing specific I'm aware of between those dates in CT. There's an event in the Pocono's that ZGCA members are participating in the weekend of the June 18th and then June 25th there is a big Z/G meet at Englishtown that I know I'll be going to but you won't be around for that. They're expecting around 300 cars for that meet.

ACE_GTS, welcome aboard. Greg (whitetrack) is right. We currently have over 20 Z's driving up on May 14th to Cape Cod. I live in Middletown and some of us will be meeting up at the Mobil in Cromwell off Exit 21 on Route 91 (across from the Super 8) at 7:00 AM to start the caravan. Hope you can join us.

This Saturday some of us will be at XXTuning in E. Hartford from around 11:00 - 3:30 PM as my car, hopefully, will be finished and getting dyno tuned. Come on by if you're not doing anything. You can get directions from www.xxtuning.com.

It's a long story. If you want to stop by on Saturday (my car is going on the dyno at noon), we can fill you in on the details.

Basically they applied for a license for their new facility back in March but it has yet to be issued. They do have a license under their other company name (Body Dynamics) which does mostly clear film, alarms, etc.


I think the major emphasis of their report was to crack down on shops removing catalytic converters and they tried to get XXTuning to do this for them on an undercover sting but they were denied. There was another shop that said they were willing to do it but it wasn't XXTuning.

I wouldn't worry about it as it was a reporter trying to stir up a story to get attention. XXTuning is a reputable and has nothing to be ashamed of. You can stop by and check it out for yourself and you'll see what I mean.

 

If you're planning to come to XXTuning tomorrow, I'll be there around 11:00 AM. They are scheduling my car for the dyno at noon.

my car won't be ready until next week, but I went and saw it today. They just fitted the kit and will get painted next week. Great fitment.....
