The best meet i have ever been to!!Plus I found a new perk of being a ZGCA member; free rides to the cafeteria on the Pocono raceway golf kart courtesy of JDs mom. Maybe I should have her teach me to drive as well as JD.

I'll post some video and pics my friend took later this week. Had a great time! Wish the gas station wasn't so far, otherwise I could have had enough time to make it back for the last run. I see Gerald got his car on the tow bed. Hopefully he made it back OK.

I cant wait to see the video!! I need to get a in car camera. Going through the in field with all the Zs and Gs was so bad a$$, i loved it.
Sal i wish i knew you were just going for gas i could went with you to show you the nearest gas station was only 2 minutes down the road (less than 5 miles away)

I'll be at Pocono Raceway - North Course with PDA in July...

 

Really?! WTF... one of the guys I asked told me it would have taken a good 30 minutes to make it there and back, not including the fill up. Someone did offer me some 100+ octane racing fuel in the garage, but I didn't want to risk it burning too rich or something. Would have been interesting to see the difference in power though.

 

Most everyone at the meet was very hospitable, weren’t they; they were ever ready to share their equipment and stuff with strangers, no questions asked. I had people that I've never met offering to share their tools with me, and simply told me that I could use it anytime I needed to.

There were some PDA members at the meet.

ZGCA & SCCA are planning another meet at Pocono, come August.

Hope, I won't be out of commision by then; will know more my condition by Tuesday.

I am glad some of you could make it, as it was nice putting names and faces to forum handles.

Yes, that was from this past Friday... I ended up getting 5 photos on disc and one on photo paper...

I met a couple of you guys.. just don't remember everyone's names.. I know a bunch of them started w/ "J's"... LOL

Gotta say... a bunch of you Z are owners were very friendly and supportive... again.. hope to see some of you guys at future events...

 

Yup....that was JD & I in that blue eyed Zee. Everyone I met was really nice, made us feel right at home.

I'm down to go again. When is the next one? I think i heard someone saying that July 30th is another one. Is that true? If so where do i sign up. Again everyone i met was so cool. Everyone from z/g owners to vipers,to vette's. The second to last time for me to go out i was running out of gas so i pulled in and a guy with a miata was not running any more and sold me the last 5 gallons of gas he had. That was cool. Anyways see everyone at raceway park Sat.
