OK, so I have been clinging onto to my parent's plan for the past 6 years and now and with the introduction of two speeding tickets in three months, they are giving me the boot.

We currently have NJ Manufacturers and I pay $2600/year for my Z and a beater with limited coverage. I got a quote from Gieco for $4200/year on my own. (I haven't gone to court yet so my points haven't been totalled and my have no previous points and a clean record).

What other choices are out there in NJ?

 

So no one drives in NJ?

 

I have Geico pay $1200 a year for my G and Ford Ranger. Before that i had NJ Cure was paying $2700 a year.

 

NJ Manufacturer's is probably the cheapest insurance you can get in NJ. With 2 speeding tickets and driving a 2 seat sports car its going to be hard finding any cheap insurance. If you are still under your parents insurance you are probably pretty young which makes it even that much more expensive.
