Default ECZA Cruise Night 7/1 Media, PA

If the weather cooperates, there will be another Cruise Night at Thomas Chevrolet on Rte. 1 in Media, PA on Friday, 7/1. The event starts at around 5 and runs till "whenever." There is food, a DJ, and a 50/50 drawing. We had about 16 Z's show up at the last one...it was a fun night!

Seriously, we are due for a 2005 meet.

Additionally, me and the gang are working on another Pocono raceway meet early August.

Early August sounds nice, and Pocono is close to me, but it might be tough right before the Nationals.

The ECZA will be having a fall meet. Not sure where or when yet, but I'll be sure to post details.

That is the idea, to have the meet run parallel to the SCCA Tri-Region Nationals 5, 6 & 7, Our meet on the 6; and 7 as the rain date.

We are working to have an area specially for the Zees and Gees somewhere adjacent to the paddock. This way we’ll have spectators from the Tri-Nationals, and the SCCA will have us as their spectators.

Absolutely, Cathy.........Not sure if I'll have my zee by then or even in fall; as I may get a new block and this time build up the motor. We'll have to see.

I suppose I shall be spotting more my Stratton, wranglers & boots....no spurs.....don't want to go hurting that donkey

I think it's going to depend on the weather tomorrow. They are still calling for t-storms in the afternoon.

If it's not raining, we can all meet at 5:00 in the parking lot of Riddle Ale House, which is right on Rte. 1 in Media...across from Riddle Memorial Hospital. We met there last time and drove down the street to the dealership together.

Sounds cool. What's the fastest way to get there from Fort Washington? The Blue Route? Or cut through Chestnut Hill and Manayunk to Rt.1 and take it all the way out?

I think I'd take the Blue Route.

Cross your fingers for good weather!

Well, I just checked the weather and there is a 60% chance of strong afternoon and evening thunderstorms and rain. It's not sounding too good at this point.

It rained here this morning and we are expecting severe storms this afternoon. So much for this month's cruise night! Guess we'll try for the one on Friday, August 5.
