I am mounting Blizzaks on my Z today. Watch...it won't snow a lick now for the rest of the winter. If it does, I'll post how they do. I got a real good idea of how the car handles (or more to the point, doesn't) in the snow on Thursday.

Yup, I had the Blizzaks installed the day AFTER the snow. Figures right? Had to drive my husband to work in the family sedan and then an additional hour to my office just 'cause I was too worried about the terrible traction that I have been reading about. I think I made the right choice. tirerack.com has the best prices. I tried all over the place locally. I was even told by one place that Bridgestone doesn't make the tire!!!!!!! Most places wanted $50-$75 MORE per tire. Tirerack delivered in just 6 days from date of order to delivery for a fraction of what I thought shipping would cost. (Fed-X)

The guy at the garage was so incredibly carefull with the install that it took him almost two hours! (Fine with me) Now I have a reason this spring to buy brandy new wheels for the "all-seasons" (Ha - all seasons - where? Hawaii?)

Next snowfall I'll let you know how the Blizzaks perform.

Yup, chrome silver. I guess I am just like most girls. Only thing is that "most girls" I know do not have the same degree of sports car addiction. I can't imagine driving the family sedan 24-7.

Ah well.... different strokes for different folks. I just think that the others have no clue what they are missing.

Stay safe and happy holidays.

Rich, I like that shot too. Though I must give credit where credit is due, all the wide angle shots were taken by my friend Billy. He has a wicked lens for taking these kind of shots. Dan, look forward to meeting you and seeing the convertible next year. Have a safe and great new year. -m

Sorry it took so long to post the performance of the Blizzaks. The holidays kept me off my PC.

Anyway, I am truly impressed with the four Blizzaks. The Z was never intended to be a car for the snow, but make all the difference in the world. These tires are so good that I want them on my son's Camaro (he's a budding Z addict)!

I could not get up the street before even in two inches of snow. Now - NO PROBLEM.

Tom, get the tires first. I'm ordering mine tomorrow. Your Z is already pist off at you for exposing her to the elements. Defintely get the cover too, its great to pull the cover off and have a fresh clean car to cruise in. If you don't, she may never forgive you. btw, how did you do in AC? I hope better than the last trip.
Peace. -m

Congrats!...500 on slots. No wonder those old women line up for those things. Well, I'm not much of a gambling type, but I've got to make my way out to Vegas or even maybe AC. Nothing against AC, but I would think there are more thrills and spills in Vegas.
