Default Can you return a car?

I bought my Z from a dealer in NJ(financed) and I haven't been happy with the process since the transaction started. Different things are popping up with the car that the dealer didn't mention to me, and I'm starting to worry about the car they sold me.

I know this is a difficult question to answer, but I'm just wondering if anyone knows about something like this, or where I should start researching. Thanks.

If you are taking the car in at least 4 times for the same problem, then you can classify that vehicle to be a lemon and pursue the lemon law. You have to prove that the vehicle is inoperable due to that problem. That is here in Cali. you might want to look up the lemon law in your state of NJ. Good luck.

or you can return a vehicle up to 3 days from purchase. I bought an 02 Audi a4 last summer and later that night the oil light came on and i immediatly pulled over to check the oil. the level was fine and everything was dry underneath. I called the dealer to have them send a flatbed, I had free towing and bumper to bumper warranty for 2 years. The dealer told me to drive the car to the dealer (only a few miles), its probably just the maintenance light, I knew for a fact it was not and told him that. He insisted I bring it in so a mechanic could check the oil level for me even though I told him I already had and it was fine. Needless to say by the time I drive there with the "STOP" light flashing because there was no oil pressure, the car had developed a very loud tap and the turbo would whine real bad when it began to spool. I was pissed, and told them I didnt want the car anymore. We stopped all the paper work and they gave me my down payment back right then and there. But this was all in the same, your probably past that point already.

You could begin by reading the warranty.

The warranty may have been voided by the previous owner, despite the dealer saying it was under warranty. Yes used, 26,000 miles.

My wife & I bought a Ford Explorer Sport once and we went back the next day saying we felt pressured to buy it (we got it at like 11PM). The MGR reversed the transaction and we got out of the deal on the spot

Go to the dealer. Ask to talk with the sales MGR. Tell them that you felt pressured and uncomfortable with the deal and you got the car under pressure. They might reverse the deal in order to gain your business for a future deal. Tell them you love them and will buy again from them when you're ready.

They should release the deal for you.

With 26,000 miles, the car is under warranty. Are you working with the dealer on any problems?. Is the dealer satisfying your needs? Why not?
