A drive on the turnpike would be nice (tolls dont bother me) because theres plenty of room to "stretch our legs" and get in a nice line for some pics/video (like u said). Going West on PA Turnpike is VERY wide open most of the time.....we could roll for a few - hit rest stop - eat, chit chat etc etc, then turn around and cruise back. Im down for this, but this time of year is hard to find a saturday or sunday to give up.
As of now, this Sunday the 4th or next Saturday the 10th would be cool for me. I would suggest meeting early somewhere to get the show on the road (literally) before things get crowded on the roads...
Lemme know...

I'm totally down, although the weather doesn't look very nice for this sunday (rain mixed with snow and 42 degrees). I'm in jersey, not to familiar with rest stops in pa, so if you pa guys name one i'll be there. Like you said, we should get a place to meet , chill for a while till everyone gets there, then head out on a nice highway cruise to another destination, have food, and go back. Good idea. Let me know when and where, i'll be there. WHen i was a with the bmw guys on the bimmer boards we did this all the time, they made trips up to bear mountain and stuff. Way more fun then standing in a parking lot.

Jvanquish - 5pm is too late man - its basically dark then - dark=no pics and not as "safe" for "spirited driving." Also, Villanova is no where near the PA turnpike man...and that area down there (Nova, Main line) is always REALLY crowded with people/traffic.
I suggest meeting at the King of Prussia Mall. Its very easy for everyone to get too - and its right at the entrance to the PA Turnpike. We can all roll west on the TP together until we find a spot that looks good (we will obviously have a cell phone list made up prior so everyone can keep in contact)...then stop eat, and turn around and go back.
Im open to any ideas...but i think morning is best. Nothing like gettin an early start and beating traffic...
Ideas? Times? Etc...

I say you fellas meet at King of Prussia as mentioned and take the turnpike West to Harrisburg EAST exit... I'll meet y'all around Harrisburg and we can do some lunch there since I'm familiar with the area. I'll cruise part (read 1/2) way back to KoP with y'all.
FYI, from KoP to Harrisburg East is about 75-80 miles on the turnpike, so with Spirited driving, that is ~1 hour...
Give me a date that is sometime after this weekend... Like next Sat. or Sun.

Next Sunday morning should be fine. 10am at KOP Mall. Leave the mall around 11am, roll west (Harrisburg is kinda far man - anywhere in the middle?) and the then come back.
Cool?

Let me check the turnpike exits if I can find them somewhere online... I guess between KoP and Harrisburg there are exits for Reading and Lancaster area. I could meet either place as long as the weather holds... I just thought you guys wanted to drive for an hour or so and you can make Harrisburg to KoP in 1 hour.
I'll post back.
I'll post back.

Okay... How bout Reading Exit (Route 222)? I had a girlfriend in the Reading area for about a year, so I am aware of a few things to do down that way...
It's exit 286 of the Turnpike I believe... It's ~30 miles closer to KoP than Harrisburg East. The only other exit after that between KoP and Harrisburg E is the Lebanon/Lancaster Exit (Route 72). I've worked in Lancaster a bit and I'm sure we could find our way around to a restaurant, if you guys want to go an extra 15 miles.
Just let me know.
