NJ. Front license plate removal. Let's get started.
Where can I go to get started a petition to campaign against the front license plate requirement in NJ. Just read an article in AUTOWEEK about someone from NY complaining on how ugly the Pontiac Solstice is going to look with a front plate. This inspired me to try and get something started here in NJ.
I hate the front look of my Z because of the license plate. PA has not required one for as long as I can remember, why is this a necessity in some states? Any information or help with this project is welcome. Where do I go, and how do I get started? And, what are my chances on getting something done?

There has been petitions in the past. I signed one that was sent by e mail a little over a year ago, but nothing ever came from it obviously. I tryied to find the link but it's long gone.
I've never had a front plate on any of my cars in the past 12 years, just take the chance and pay the fines.

your speaking to deaf ears man, ...the cities that already have them in place are pretty much sold on the front liscent plate rule. Like a cop is gonna read your liscence plate when speeding with blinding hids lol i hate my front liscence plate
I never put my NY front plate on (only drove the car six months before winter came) and I never had a problem. Got pulled over twice too. Since I bought mine in Florida, there weren't even any holes drilled. =)
Just don't to anything to attract other attention and you'll be fine.
