Shop near Philly to do fuel filler recall
Anyone know of a good shop near Philly that can do the fuel filler recall and can be trusted? I've been taking my car to Sloane Nissan (since I live near Willow Grove) but I don't like their attitude and don't trust their work. Anyone have any suggestions? I don't mind driving a bit, I just want a shop that will be friendly and do good work. Thanks
If they take saturday appointments I'll just make a day of it. It's about 35 mins from where I am now, but it's not too bad for a quality shop. I may also be buying a new pumpkin with Nismo LSD installed so i'll have them swap that in there when they drop everything for the filler line. Thanks guys
GOt my done on Monday At Oniel Nissan on Street Road. Car had less than .1 miles added and they used paper mat to protect the floor mat. Service was good.. I did fill up today and the gas gage was a little on the low side ( not dead on the fill line) wonder if this is do to improper fitment.

exton nissan bites. I get my work done there sometimes because i bought the car there and get my free oil change a year done. But i know 75% of the people that work there, and I only get my free oil change and nothing else. If you do go there, DO NOT LET THEM WASH THE CAR. They use brooms instead of a sponge, wheel cleaner (strips clear coat) along with a bad overall wash dried with a california blade (puts small scratches in because they don't take the time to wash all the way). If you do go, stay away from the Service advisor fred alvisi, he is a untrustworthy guy, he bounces between the nissan and infiniti stores so he might not be there. I would try concordville, I have heard they are good. I do most of my own work and none of the tsb's and recall have affected me, grease streaks every now and then but i will live with it rather than letting them take my door panel off.
Loughead tried to screw me over 400 bucks on my used Z. Long story but I never went back to them. Exton Nissan does ok service, I haven't delt with Fred, but they cycle through service managers ever few months or so. I am taking it to another dealership now that my warrenty is done.

up to last week I used Concordville Nissan. Service has been decent with the exception of scratching up my side skirts on two seperate occasions. However, they were very good in having them repainted. Well, just last week they told me they'd rather me not come to their dealership any more! I cost them too much money when they have to repaint my car from THEIR MISTAKES!
I'm thinking of checking out Loughead in Swarthmore...

Do you know who worked on your car? I bought my Z there and have had some warranty work and minor stuff done there. A good friend of mine was a tech there. As of 2 weeks ago, hes training to be a service manager. Of anyone anywhere, he's the only one I'd trust working on/driving my car.
MY buddy at Concordville is Tim. I'm not sure if there was any other techs there that were any good. I don't know anyone else with a lift, sorry.
