I know the Central, PA Z's (Harrisburg, Lebanon, etc.) have been discussing getting together for a cruise one of these weekends. This is the first weekend I have available, so I thought I would attempt to gauge interest in a cruise on that day... There are two options below. Let me know which sounds best and signup on a "list" if interested.

1) The first option I had considering was driving 22-322 NorthWest toward State College, PA if we can get a decent amount (half dozen +) Z's interested. It's a scenic cruise along the susquehanna and juniata rivers. We could find a lot, hang out, grab dinner, beers, etc. in State College and head back later in the evening. This would be a 1.5 hour cruise (at close to legal speeds, and i will bring up the rear since I have already lost my license once) one way, so I'm not sure how interested y'all would be.

2) The other second option is cruising South from Harrisburg East Exit on the turnpike toward King of Prussia. This option seems pretty attractive as well because even though it isn't scenic, we could meet the KoP area Zs down there and have a larger get together. Again, its about 1.5 hours to KoP so it would be a nice drive.

My suggestion would be:

Harrisburg Area Zs Meet around 12-12:30, Departing at 12:35
Arrive in King of Prussia at 2:00
Meet in Lot until 3-3:30
Early Dinner at 3:30-5
Hang out a little while longer...
Harrisburg Zs depart around 6-6:30 for Harrisburg

This allows us to get back for normal Sat. night activities by 7:30-8ish.

That doesn't sound too bad. Is 13th solid, or is it just a date to throw out there?

 

Solid for me, as long as I can get at least 2 other Harrisburg Zs to cruise with me... We have never had a get together before, so I'm hoping I can get some commitment, but I have no backing to base it on...

I don't care where we meet once we get to the Southeast (Philly suburb area), I'm more concerned with the cruise down the turnpike and getting 3-6 other Zs to drive down with me...

There is no use for me to even have a meet in Philly if noone is going to cruise down with me...

We can change the southeast meet point once I get some more central PA zs signed up. Where is conestoga HS?

That's not much help to someone who's never been there? Where is it in relation to KoP and/or Turnpike?

 

u get off 476 @ exit 13 and go west on route 30...

 

i'm down for that... def gotta be that weekened i'm in my friends wedding the next so i wont be around. lets try to get the other cen. PA z's to commit...

 

How far West on 30? Is this further for us than KoP?! Or Closer? I'm not looking to drive much further than KoP... That's already 1.5 hours.
