On a side note: are you the black Z that is always parked on 202 with the american flag pole thingy on the window?
Nah no american flag pole thingy on my window haha. Not sure if i'd park it on 202 either people are nuts haha.

But yeah sounds like the guy that came to my house when my brothers Cobra got egg'd Really nice dude they got 2 new cops in New Britain Both are young an cool guys. I'm sure if you explained your self an explained that you were sorry for what happen an if there was anything you could do to avoid the 4 points you'd be extremely gratefull. I've done this countless times in my camaro including onces for illegally drag racing threw the middle of dolyestown " I was young an stupid". Thankfully there is actually really nice cops out there just trying to do there job that are normally willing to help out if your kind about it. I would take the ticket to court cause hes not going to be able to fix it outside of court.Show up early try to catch him ahead of time so you can chat with him about it before you go in or speak with him at the station an ask him if he'd be kind enough to forgive ya if you go to court. I know they hate going to court but i mean theres no way they can fix it else wise.

here's something to ponder... he got me using the robic timing thing we have in PA (the white lines). They time you going between them and figure your speed from there.. My ticket says I went 0.028 Miles in 1.81 seconds... if ya do the math on that, its 55.6mph - 20 over the limit aka 4 points.. but if you make it 2 seconds (just 2 tenths of a second longer) it puts me at only 50mh - 15 over aka 3 points.. ok so 2.3 seconds (0.5 seconds longer than the original number) puts me at only 8.8mph over the speed limit - only 2 points....Obviously there is room for user error there since he is just clicking a button twice when he sees me move over the lines! I mean, it was raining and 2am for crying out loud.... worst case scenario, thats gotta mean something in court right, i mean math doesnt lie! Also, the average human reaction time of a college aged person is about 0.19 seconds for light.. so if he were to say jump the gun on the first line and then reacted late on the second (using the .19 as a constant) that could mean a total diversion of .38 seconds -enough for a 2 point difference in my ticket!!! of course i coudl get even more technical if needed and dive into simple vs recognition vs choice reaction times and how things like arousal, fatigue, direct vision vs peripheral, age, gender, and even left vs right handed can even effect the time, but then im getting out there (i was a physics major for 3 years before switching to accounting, haha,so this is my nerd side coming out)..but hey its my last resort if they dont want to just be nice to me and reduce it without all that...

Most of them are cool man you shouldnt have a problem. I mean when someone tells you to beat down people who egged your car then call them that tells you something there.

Definitely hire a lawyer and fight it. They can knock a couple if not all the points off. It's worth the law fees.

So just got back form court... Never even made it into the court room. I met the cop in the lobby about 15 minutes before the hearing and he said that since I was nice to him the night it happened, and didnt give him a hard time that he was going to give me a break! So he ammended the ticket on the spot and made it only 5 over (no points) and my ticket dropped to only $125 instead of $160... So i saved 35 bucks, and i got no points!

So yea, in short, i got hella lucky...
