I stay in Atlanta but seriously considering a move to Manchester, any advice or opinions?

I'm not far from Manchester...It's definitely not on the same level as Boston, but for a small-to-medium-sized city, it's pretty nice. Be prepared to take a hit on property taxes, though...that's where NH makes up for not having sales or state income tax.

There are many nice areas in N.H and Manchester was voted in the top 10 cities in the US to live but in my opinion Yuk!!! I would live in Dover area.

i live about 10 minutes from Manch. It's a pretty cool place, always stuff to do around there. I also went to school up around the Dover area. Dover is nice but ALOT more laid back. It depends on what kind of scene you are looking for. Do you want to do out to bars and clubs every night or do you want some nice property with a community type area?

Stay in Atlanta.....The weather is nicer year round, housing is cheaper, and you don't need to put up with all the damn Yankees!!!

Really New Hamsphire is a beautiful area....only drawback is the cold weather and snow in the winter....You need to like winter sports or it's a long season...

Definitely a community with nice property, Atlanta is okay but I'm originally from Alaska and I would like the northen feel without being so isolated. I like the option to go out every once in a while but I love snowboarding and the outdoors period.

And thanks down_shift! I wish I still had it too

You'd be in the right area if the outdoors and boarding is your thing....so many mountains to choose from in that area.
